I chose this card because of price, its possibilities (Input / Output
audio / midi) and brand TASCAM which for me so far was a good reference (I have used and worn several Portastudio)

UTILIZATION

abien comes with a CUBASE but I did not even installed using MAGIX STUDIO for several years.
The problems there are many: At the start the card is not always recognized. It should therefore restart the PC and MAGIX once or twice.
The latency is unfortunately too large and MIDI. I do not see how to reduce it, but hey I work more than MIDI audio.
Finally there are many more entries but you must disconnect the line input to connect the microphone or the guitar ... You can not say it simple / practical.


GETTING STARTED

Installation is quick, no problems (except that you download the latest driver from TASCAM) and the manual is clear and sufficient.

OVERALL OPINION

Jr used for over a month and I am relatively satisfied until small problems aside. I think for the price, TASCAM could have done better but this little box (which ultimately is bigger than I thought) seems solid. What I like most is the headphones (you can quickly switch to the headphone speakers using a potentiometer and it's comfortable!)
In summary, I would say it is a value from TASCAM moyen.Et I am a little disappointed.
