Value For Money : Poor
Manufacturing Amricaine, Gibson requires a trs few copies (less than 300, of APRS that I read right and left) because it was a commercial failure, the era. This guitar was the march of mtalleux of all kinds for a staggering price. It was located in prices on the 2nd step of the podium the Les Paul Custom APRS. It was explained by the notement prsence of 2 humbuckers "Boomerang" with the particularity to have a silent first winding capturing the three bass strings and treble strings deuxime the three a bit of fawn Precison-Bass pickups. If looks could well take the road or even silent avant-garde for mtalleux (exit 79), the sound could not possibly follow the style you want. In fact the sound of "Boomerang" give this gem a soft attack Lespaul Custom type, but a clarity and a fine crystalline suprieur largely those of Strato or Tele ... However, as everything is paid, these strengths are unfortunately against balanced by an output level much lower than the copies deficits, which explains this commercial failure, IMHO.
Its production was Tale of 4 years and change course, Gibson, 81 ds, dlaissa its "Boomerang" for classic humbuckers (PAF Super Humbuckers ...?) To try to redress the balance, but too late for a reputable rcuprer which was not the height of expectancy at ... especially since the look of the instrument ptit srieusement !
Ct violin, then-l is the great Gibson's fabulous! A round rolled 5 games on a box al judiciously assembled to provide grain, heat, and incredible sustain, even if the assembly against the left-apparatre collages that may not be the taste of everyone. However, the table is finely chamfered Fawn irrgulire, which gives this aspect "sculptquot; superb, and the outline of which is highlighted by a border indoor giving this look if especially ...
Regarding the equipment, nothing but a classic trs fittings Fully dor with a tailpiece manufactured specially for the V-shaped guitar, but much less aggressive than a conventional V ( still an element of explanation of the price of the lev box). Another lment to justify the price, it is the media microphones mtalliques sleep (the most beautiful effect), which were also specially manufactured to the conus and scratches .. .

UTILIZATION

In terms of the jouabilit yet it remains on the ass, as long as we stay up with the instrument hung around the neck (like all the flying, difficult or impossible to play sitting) ...
The handle is a bit pais, but a little more than a Les Paul strait, allowing a fast game and prcis long as we take the time to get used to. Cel-words, this usually comes quickly and trs is found quickly trs enjoyable. The key is frtes bucket with 21 and a half (the dernire with notches giving way to the tip of the micro "Boomerang." CHAC with acute could not be easier, as Flying on any ...
For sound, this guitar will find its place more easily play the Jazz, his clear gnral. It is really beautiful in this type of registry to the point where we could play classical quasiemment without dnaturer style other than the look ... This tight deadlines not to use it to sound heavier, simply to add distortion to a good three or four you dj SERIES ... But the sound will keep all its finesse and precision ...

SOUNDS

I used (and continues) on a 63 Bandmaster Blonde on a VH100R Laney, a Marshall Major 200 W 67, and regardless of the amp used is the slap systmatiquement, especially in his " nature ", and the Bandmaster particulirement that can easily grow in its register" crunch "... If I have one for my Firebird V prdilection 64, the Flying despite the only default of its output level a bit feeble, is even fill all the fantasies of DSIR and n ' matter what guitar, especially mine.

OVERALL OPINION

I have about 2 years ...
Its look, sound, its jouabilit are its major assets, and if the output level was the height, there would be no dark spot, because you can rev well into a positive. I acquired this instrument at a price of 2400. If a still hurts the guts to go out that much money, we must also say that for the vintage of this class is very cheap, especially since a series is a rev limit and trs rare, it Confre ample opportunities for capital gains for a collector. On the other hand, for a device of that class in nine, you would count double. Yrflchissant therefore, if I had the choice again, it would be no problem in any case, I do not regret the money I slap
