Reverend Guitars has announced upgrades to their entire line of guitars.
From now on, the Set-Neck series (including the Volcano) will feature neck binding and block inlays. The Bolt-On series now features black painted headstocks (except on necks with maple fingerboards).
All guitars are also now equipped with Reverend’s new Pin-Lock tuners featuring a thumbwheel underneath that pushes a steel pin upwards through the post, locking the string in place. These are said to be very smooth, high gear ratio tuners with great tuning stability. And the thumbwheels are removable, so that users can service/lube the gear and pin if need be. Also, the post is non-tapered, yielding a larger diameter to wrap around, which reduces string breakage.
