Following the Modern Bass launched in february, Ilya Efimov introduces a new virtual bass for Kontakt, in a traditional classic style.
Classic Bass features 3348 samples of a Fender '72 Precision Bass played with different techniques, including fingers, slap, palm mutes and various articulations. 12 velocity layers were recording for each of the 20 frets, with a round robin algorithm, and you can control the attack, switch between the two X-notes mode, get flageolets, slide-up, glissando and other options.
An automatic position and string selection is including, but a manual mode is also possible.
Last, Efimov included an amp cabinet simulation, various effects and noises.
The samples are in 24-bit / 44.1kHz resolution and the library requires the full Kontakt 4 or 5 version.
Price: 99€
