Rick features 7GB of bass samples with 32 round robins, 3 morphing velocity layers and time-dependent release samples. Legato samples include hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides articulations, as well as muted notes, muted slaps, regular slaps and more. Orange Tree Samples adds that the sampling was made chromatically.
An effect section is also included, with amp and cab models, EQ, compressor and chorus. These effects can be bypassed so that you can use your own external effects.
Last, OTS took advantage of Kontakt scripts to automate some factors, including the fret automatic selection, an algorithm that can be disabled if you prefer using manual selection.
Evolution Electric – Rick is available for Kontakt 4 and 5 (full version only). The library is available for the introductory price of $79 until July 31st. Regular price is $99. You can listen to audio demos on www.orangetreesamples.com.
