Best value:
Excellent
- Easy installation. DVD player required. Code cherchr to go on the net (but not your PC music Besin to be connected to the net it)
- Incompatibilities: see list on the Toontrack site.
- 1 WARNING: This software does not work alone. It can be used in a sequencer VST hosting.
- NOTE 2: The value of this type of software lies in the grooves drag and drop (including the bearings (girls) with a "humanizer"). Therefore "stick" the groove very accurately in time (the first note). For that it is better to have the "groove quantize" which hold the first note in time but that leaves other natural notes (but still wedged "naturally" in relation to the premièe). It is not the "quantize" which puts all the notes in the square nearest 32 degrees and completely distorts a roll for example.
Or some software "entry level" as the Sonar home studio have the "groove quantize". We need higher versions in the range (eg producer). So ask yourself.
- The configuration could not be more welcoming and clear.
- The manual as well.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
This software consumes almost nothing (2% CPU P800)! It is extremely powerful. We must give him 40 seconds to load the sounds in the early session (not to close the EZdrummer VST! Otherwise it has to reload)
Sons.
The sounds are very good. The setting of individual microphones, and overhead of the room (room) allows for realism. One can deplore the absence of a cymbal splash.
Grroves.
The grooves are good, with a score Devarieux charley / ghost note for each groove.
The bearings are excellent.
Attention to the management of the velocity between the grooves. And as is the "virtual human", it can take back the "human error aléaoires" a little too random.
OVERALL OPINION
Used for a month
we regret the lack of splash.
Warning voius must have a groove sequencer with quantize function so you do not "take the lead" to stick to the millimeter.
Excellent value for money.
