So I went in without a clue and purchased it without any trials or demo downloads or anything. Im not sure if they even have a demo download version of the software , they should have one though because most softwares do in order to give use a chance to look and see if we really want to make the investment purchasing the full version. I purchased the full version of Cyclop for around 125 dollars about a year or so ago and have been using it every since.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Setting it up was really easy, though I didn’t need a manual I still used it from time to time because the set up of Cyclop might look pretty easy it still threw me some challenges trying to edit certain paremeters of the sounds and presets that come with it.
OVERALL OPINION
The sounds are actually pretty good, I was surprised because I have never used or even heard of any software from Sugar byes company so I didn’t expect to get as good sounds as they had. I expected really thin and weak sounding synths that just weren’t going to be full enough for me and I thought I would have to add a buch of effects in order for the sound to fit my style.
After using it for a few months I really fell in love with it and have been using it every since. I think it’s a great virtual synth plug in, it may be just a little overpriced though. It should cost around 99 bucks or so in order to compete with some of the other leading vst that are being used in todays music. But still at 125 I feel I got my money’s worth within the first month that I used it.
