The features are absolutely not lacking anything in any way whatsoever, in comparison to the original synths it's even got more features.

If you don't already know how to use the original synths you may need to invest some time in that but the standalone and vst interface is really easy to use.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The sounds are absolutely unbelievable. The Legacy package contains soft synths of the MS-20, Polysix, Wavestation and the Legacy Cell in which you can combine these different synths and their effects. I've played both the original MS-20 and Polysix and I must say I was totally blown away by the accuracy in which these lagendary synths are reproduced. There are even extra options that the original synths didn't have. For instance, the original (monophonic) MS-20 can now be turned into a 32 voice counting polyphonic synth. The same goes for the Polysix. The MS-20 also has it's additional unison unit built in.

I've never had any problems with the software besides the fact that you really need a heavy processor to deal with these synths. I've got a Sony VAIO laptop with a 3gHz processor and if I run about 6 of these synths at the same time (about half of them having lots of voices and the other half one or two) you can almost litterally see little heatwaves rising from my beloved computer.

OVERALL OPINION

I absolutely LOVE the Legacy collection because it brings you back to those good old analogue days. The love factor is increased by the MS-20 controller that you get with the package. If you give it some of your love, you'll get back ten times the love you put in.

Since there are three high quality synths and dozens of effects, I'd call it alot of features. This package covers your complete electronic studio needs.

Omfg, it sounds amazing! I've had it for like a year now and it still amazes me.

The Mod wheel of my MS-20 controller is broken, but I can live with that. No bigger problem. The rest of the package is completely software and it's well programmed. Super ultra mega dega stable.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it when it was new and very expensive (it cost me approx $550), but even though the prices are lower now I don't regret that I bought it. It's an amazing collection of Korg's best products and I strongly recommend it. The MS-20 and its controller only is worth more than the whole package according to me.

I do not know the MS20 (I had a Moog Rogue) nor the polisix I had a wave station

The MS20 is fantastic and polyphonic) plants are gniaux patches + + +
The Polysix trs seemed good too
The Wave station is a version from the hardware ameilior

Overall I am in love and I tried a number of virtual synths, so it was my preferences with the FM7

OK, when I put it on more synth in a parallel range ca chouilla train (but I know if it's recommended by the manufacturer!)

It's good MIDI control is instantaneous and is made qu'honnorable.

I have not had a problem it is very stable!

For 1 week (hehe I know it's just to give an avi but hey!)

I love to tweak it, it sounds good, I shall taste the touch (humm hummm)
It can not be used without PC (because there is no midi output)

Not really, I still assess a demo version.

- How would you rate the quality / price?
I think it's by far my best investment with Fruityloops!
A € 650 fesait that expensive anyway, but at the current price, Throw away your advice on it (no no no I sold mine!)
