The Korg Legacy Collection Analog Edition 2007 is a virtual synth that emulates the hardware version of a Korg analog synth from the 1980s. It has a number of different emulations within this one synth. I didn't have any problems installing the software and it has always run smoothly on the system that I have used it on. I didn't have any compatibility problems and since installing it I haven't had any problems with anything related to installation or otherwise. The interface of the software is pretty user friendly because everything is laid out so that you can find the typical functions easily. This being said, it will probably take you a little while to learn everything that this software has to offer simply because the features and parameters available are vast. The manual is put together well and is helpful to learn everything about the Korg Legacy Collection Analog Edition 2007 software.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
I am currently running the Korg Legacy Collection Analog Edition 2007 on a Mac Book Pro that has a 2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM. I find that I am to run this as a stand alone quite easily with this configuration, but I do notice that this will take up a good amount of processing power, so make sure that your system exceeds the minimum requirements that they recommend to run this software. As long as you have a good system I don't see a reason why you would have problems running the Korg Legacy Collection Analog Edition 2007.
OVERALL OPINION
I haven't been using the Korg Legacy Collection Analog Edition 2007 for all that long, but I can definitely say that this is a great sounding piece of software that is infinitely powerful. You can get all sorts of synth sounds, all of which are quite realistic. The price isn't expensive at all and for this reason I would highly recommend picking this up especially if you are a fan of the hardware synth that this emulates. If if you aren't familiar with it I think that anyone looking for a good sounding virtual synth should try this out for sure...
