Waterharp 2 features 18 instrument presets and 2,927 samples with a 24-bit / 48 kHz audio resolution. Soundiron used different techniques to record the waterphone: it was played with mallets, sticks, metal rods, fingers and palms, bows, magnets, voices and more, dry and with water, captured with hydrophones (mics that go under water), cooked over open flame or filled with screws. Plus, Soudiron used these samples to create soundscapes, drones, pads, ambiences and atmospheres.
Waterharp 2 features a brand new Kontakt GUI on which you can automate attack, release, filter, vibrato, edge and convolution reverb, the latter includes 30+ room, hall and special effect impulses.
Waterharp 2 requires the full version of Kontakt 5.1 and later. It is available for the introductory price of $41.30 instead of $59 and you can listen to a demo at soundiron.com.
