Inear Display announces the availability of Tkapik, a virtual sampler controlled by an amplitude envelope.
Available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux, Tkapik allows for randomly changing a sample playback (WAV or AIFF file) according to amplitude peaks detected in the file. The sample can be mixed with the input signal or it can completely replace the signal thanks to the Solo mode.
The random settings that will be changed when triggering the sample include offset, loop points and pitch.
Tkapik includes MIDI Learn for MIDI controller mapping.
The plug-in is available in VST and AU 32 and 64-bit. It has a special introductory price of 10€. Regular price is 20€ and you can download a demo version from www.ineardisplay.com.
