To produce Agitato Sordino Strings, the 8Dio team recorded 9 types of Sordino Legato for each instrument with multiple layers and then programmed these samples. Then they recorded each instrument section individually so that you can control them separately, and reprogrammed all the individual patches into Full Sordino Ensemble patches for easier use in compositions. The latter include sordino sordino as well as dynamic sordino bows.
The 8Dio legato system features an adaptive speed feature and gives you control over dynamics and expression.
Features:
- 7.5 GB of content
- 12,684 samples
- 3 microphone positions (Neumann models): close, far and mixed
- 11 violins, 8 violas, 6 cellos and 4 basses
- Patches for individual string sections and full ensemble
- True legato
- Sordino control
Agitato Sordino Strings requires the full version of Kontakt 4.2 and later. It is available for the introductory price of $249 instead of $299 through June 1st. You can listen to demos at 8dio.com.
