4 channel analog mixer, 3 channels equipped with phono input, XLR outputs.
3 band full cut EQs.
2 FX in / out assignable.
Sound Card USB 2.0 20-channel (8 +2 In / 8 +2 out@44.1kHz-96kHz)
227 MIDI controls.
2 filters S & H assignable VCA.
XLR microphone input
Headphone output 3.5 and 6.35
No EQ on the master nor the booth, or headphones. Therefore include one or more parameters / graphics.
UTILIZATION
The beast is very fitted, so complex, especially at management level sound card in-out / analog in-out, but the manual is comprehensive and very clear. (I do not know if it is available in French).
The location of the buttons is ideal. The quality of the faders and knobs are the best. It is possible to change the crossfader with P & G. The assignment of the cross for each channel is via a tiny switch 3 positions (X / Y / Y) not practical at all, especially in the dark.
MIDI controls such as knobs / faders on the mixer are operating at both firm and flexible, so quality.
The meters are very accurate and good size.
SOUNDS
The audio quality is top. No buzz, hum, breath. The sound card is 24B/96Khz crystal. The analog inputs idem.
Just a little jitter filters A & H without input and high volume headphone / master. (A table is made out of her ... but you have to find a defect)
The EQs are very well made, and intersect at infinity.
OVERALL OPINION
After 5 months of testing, I'm very happy, and seeing the look of my top friends, even proud
It must be said that besides being a very good restaurant is a nice table (long live the black light).
The lack of EQ output is harmful if the PA does not have an EQ, but it's a table ultra pro, so the rack of effects and EQs must be present as it should. It also lacks a little EQ on the headphone output. M'enfin again y 'solutions.
Regarding the use, I Traktorise with, and I remain convinced that the 4D is the best tool for that.
After mapping all the desired functions, the workflow is impeccable.
Considering the price / durability / functionality, I do not part with it anytime soon.
