Published on 11/02/13 at 03:36After training on ProTools, I chose this keyboard in order to control the software, especially the mixer and the different effects.
Opportunities announced regarding the HyperControl fashion are very interesting.
UTILIZATION
I work on Mac OS X 10.8.5 to 10.3.7 ProTools and with Finale 2012 and Sibelius 7.
The feel is nice and what is not nothing, the keyboard is not noisy.
In view of the possibility of the keyboard, I find insufficient manual. I do not doubt that the keyboard used complex do not need more information, but is starting (and I do not think the only one), I would have liked a more complete manual, be it in English .
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a week.
I first focused my choice on the Axiom Pro 61, but unfortunately we can not find it, except for expo models.
It seemed important to inform buyers of the keyboards that at the time I wrote these lines, it is not compatible with ProTools, ie any part HyperControl is not exploitable . The manufacturer says on its website that the update is in development to be continued ...
So far I've always been satisfied with the quality / price ratio of M-Audio keyboards and I have no doubt that my opinion will be the same when I can use all of these functions. I hope to say in the near future that I would do this choice.
