« Very good for a master keyboard »
Published on 08/20/14 at 02:18The Roland keyboard, the seriousness of the mechanism (I have never had contact problems, etc., and I've had plenty of pianos (W 30, XP 50, XP80, Fantom X)
UTILIZATION
The manual is normal, average compared to other, more complex, manuals.
I'm not a huge fan of master keyboards, I think Novation or Akai have products that are easier to put into operation (I use Protools)
However, the buttons, switches, etc. are very reliable.
I have an Edirol A500 Pro and the remarks are similar.
OVERALL OPINION
In conclusion, the keyboard, keys and mechanical parts are very reliable,
but assignations, etc. are not very clear.
That said, I'm not a specialist in assignations and Protools isn't the most intuitive in this domain, unless, of course, you use an Avid controller!
If I had to, I would choose again the A-800PRO. I use mainly the keyboard and pads
