Cort EVL-A6

This is a folk guitar made in China, whose characteristics are as follows:
- Florentine Cutaway
- Solid spruce
- Mahogany back and sides
- Mahogany
- Ebony 20 frets, with exclusive benchmarks EVL
- Mechanical oil bath satin chrome
- Ebony bridge
- Electronics Fishman Classic 4T (tuner)
- Finish: Black satin EVL

UTILIZATION

This instrument is a successful aesthetically and finish is excellent (the black satin is really beautiful, we must see it for real to understand).
The neck is relatively thin (beware, it is not a stratacoustic either> <) it says the action is very high and the adjustment is difficult, it is necessary to file the nut to get something right .
The guitar is really unusable with the original settings, surprising in this price range! My model also has a stripe parallel to the button on the handle, it is quiet but I could have done.

SOUNDS

The sound is very warm and balanced, nothing at this level is a real treat!
I use it just connected because I do not have a suitable amp for now (on a micro cube is not necessarily what ecstasy: D).

OVERALL OPINION

It's been a month since I played is a very fine instrument but suffers from some flaws that must be corrected before it can hope to play. It's certainly a risk we take when we order on the net, it says the setting of the handle does not correct the problem of action ... it's still surprising to have to shave the saddle to play in good conditions. Especially since this defect is found on other models from Cort.
