The Madison Flame Top guitars use a photo-finish process that allows the factory to impose the image of flamed wood onto a plain guitar surface.
To complete the effect the company binds the top, back and neck with cream binding and used perloid purfling on the top and perloid diamond fret markers. Other features include a radiused rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, cream binding, nickel silver frets and sealed die-cast keys. Active electronics feature a volume 3 band EQ, presence control, battery check feature and a outside battery compartment.
