UTILIZATION

Super nice handle and end like that of an electric guitar.
Finding the strings too high original, I made a complete adjustment on mine with the lowering ropes to ease the games and finger pressure.
Pleasant by its lightness and shape at the weight, like it or not like is typical Ovation and that's what makes its charm I think.
Access to acute is perfect seen the plan off.
Only drawback, the near-stack amp that will blank out if the cable is connected and the round box that is not super practical "slumped on the sofa" position is allowed but hey it's like that for all Ovations.

When finishing it clean and well finished, RAS: Image Ovation brand requires.
(In total disagreement with the advice of Sage also on this point, but I'll lower for tones)

SOUNDS

The preamp is effective and many tone setting. Acute settings, bass and mids are relevant and well defined.

Used on electric guitar amps transistor and tube, I guess an acoustic amp the sound can be still better.

Obviously if Mr. compares this Ovation CC024 Ovation Adamas with its worth over € 3,000, or more than 6 times more expensive, and it has never connected this guitar on a good tube amp. It may also be necessary to compare what is comparable in the same range!

It's like comparing a Gibson Les Paul Custom 58 or more than € 3,500 with Gibson LP Studio, the quality is top but the budget did have nothing.
In this case, as saying that all the guitars below € 1,500 are real crap hawkers and here I am far from being agreed. When you drive a Ferrari, it's easy to dismiss a VW.

OVERALL OPINION

Used for over 5 years so moderate as it is not my main guitar, I played mostly at first. I now plays mainly electric guitar, but I always take pleasure to play with for more acoustic session.

As already mentioned, excellant value for price.

UTILIZATION

UTILIZATION

Channel-type electric. A must for lovers of the guitar!
Access to acute easy thanks to the cutaway.
MidBowl form is very nice.
Very good sound.

SOUNDS

The sound is very good and dry on any amp.
The output level is 12 db compared to other electro-acoustics.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months and I am very satisfied.
The value for money is good.
In retrospect, I probably will redeem the scratch!

UTILIZATION

UTILIZATION

It is light, the handle is nice, we get immediately a sound of hell, I had on hand at home and that this model just above the celebrity CS 247 more expensive and much to my surprise when I plug alternatively the two on my acoustic amp (50 watt marshall sound 2 channels) without any correction on the guitar, I compare the sounds and the CC024 who prefer a more extreme rich which is what I am looking for the country .
by ovation against the rounded bottom is deeper on the 024 CC which makes it even less comfortable to play. ovation = not ideal for playing sat!

Excellent in country and folk perfect for picking an acoustic amp, but not without terrible TRENDY! MAMA MIA! the rich but difficult to describe a sound means of the rope as much as a sound of the drum which is for me a great compliment.Ceux who loved his ovation in discovering one day will not be disappointed with this model accessible price! the sound is both crystalline and deep in the bass while remaining natural (always the sound of string ...) to please me, I play alone, without support of a bass with me, I am alone so I corrects pushing the extremes of the amp and it is with these settings that I have the best sound I've described very rich.

I for a week, hard to put it to sleep at night!
I like the most for its price, what I like least is too rounded rear shape it bothers me a bit even standing with a strap maisd ... I confess that my back is fragile !

The handle: Simply gnial ... The electrical scratch will not be too quick dpays etc ...

I use it for just under two years if I remember correctly.

I had nothing casiment essay before you buy! but I try to scratch this price range and I'm happy!

The model I use is a 12-string. The body is sized Mid-Bowl. Electro-acoustic OP24 preamp + and cutaway.

Update 05/03:
Having recently purchased an electronic Lag, I noticed, changing the battery in the preamp, so having seen the inside of the box, the finish was exceptional.
So I decided to exmanier, just to see, than my Ovation. I took a small mirror and I had a look.
What was not my disappointment. It is simply unacceptable that a skyscraper that price (640 euros, because it is the model 12-string) is as sloppy inside. Ok, it's not what looks normal, and that's not what makes the sound (on that, it's a great guitar, no complaints), but hey, it's great neglected.
So I saw that the bars are hyper-off ill-fitting (not the same height and more, the guys who make these guitars have a compass in the eye), and in addition, the cutting of the rose is dismal: top (side preamp) is cutting nearly round and very moderately clean, but the bottom (bevel side) is wrong, not clean, and more wood is split and lost fragments . I have never seen even a guitar at 50 euros. The Korean ovations have no big differences in sound with the Yanks, but while there, you really see where they made money. That's why they put the large plastic roses, it cuts to hide their shit.

I put eight characteristics, and I put the final four because the finish is crap.

UTILIZATION

The handle is thicker than normal (12 strings) but it goes well, except that it is not enough polish and I find it a little irride hand. But nothing too serious. Access to acute is correct for an acoustic guitar. Otherwise, with a round back guitar, you have to adjust the strap if the guitar slips and bows when playing standing.
The action is relatively low (very good when you are 12 strings) and the excellent playing comfort.

SOUNDS

Acoustics, it is like all Ovations:
- Sound extremely rich in harmonics (at the table had a finer guiatre normal and also thanks to an unprecedented barrage, all made possible by the fund rounded Lyrachord).
- Its very precise and clear
- Excellent sustain
- Compressed natural sound
- Slight lack of bass
- Lower volume a guitar "normal"
All these features except the last are perfect for a 12-string.
The sound overall is very beautiful and unlike any other traditional guitar. It's very rich and the beautiful treble is really beautiful.

In electronics, it's all good too. But I use it primarily to make noise made in the studio with micro electro-static, so I use the piezo not the masses.

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent, whether acoustic or plugged. Look fabulous. A great guitar to the very strong personality for a floor price. I heard Rican 12-string models, and there's no obvious difference in the sound from the Celebrity.

Updated: I note down my 8 because of problems finishing described above. Guitars 2-3 times less expensive finishes were infinitely better. It's foutage of mouth for the price. Anyway, I leave a note as the guitar sounds great, and ultimately that's what counts.
