1614 Folklore Made in the USA in 1977

Sitka spruce top, box ovation deep bowl.

Channel 48 mm wide (for picking), the first guitar from Ovation Marcel Dadi, 18 frets including 12 non-cash, no cutaway. Classic pretty head.

For setting the microphones, no fuss: Volume and Tone is everything and that's enough.

UTILIZATION

The handle is nice and everything slides alone.
By against it weighs like an ass, but at least it feels sturdy and does not interfere in any way the game
That's why I put 9.

SOUNDS

For the picking, finger style, blues and accompaniment, even in acoustics means it, and my Marshall AS 50D gives Ovation sound that you expect: low flapping crystalline highs .

OVERALL OPINION

I have 2 years and when I got it it was mounted in nylon strings. Beautiful sound in amplified but rather just unplugged. When I mounted metal strings while there she reveals all its power and many of scratch we were blown away by comparing it with their guitars and noticed they did not sound that good.

I would not hesitate one second to redo this choice because it's a safe bet but rare.

The perfect guitar? if it was lighter yes
