UTILIZATION

First grip, the use is always a bit special at first because of the rounded box but you get done quickly and in the long run it's more enjoyable.

The handle end is a joy to play and access to acute is very easy. Like many of Ovation, the strings are widely spaced, so I recommend for those with big fingers (it is still very playable).

At the stringed guitar is well balanced, you can feel it vibrate when you play well. Contrary to some opinions I've read, the violin is generally impeccable! Like most Japanese models is a little lottery at that level.

I changed the strings several times because it does not support the great open tuning, I installed the Elixir top and I took a big blow, the sound is transformed, the strings are more tolerant about the tuning and clarity of sound is beautiful! If I had known I would have done earlier

SOUNDS

A vacuum:

I think the Ovations have always been apart (I love personally), the fund offers a carbon-rounded sort of natural reverb when playing that which enhances the sound (I think).

One of the big positives of this guitar is the sound balance, treble is not at all showy and very present midrange.

The downside to my taste, is that the serious lack of depth a bit, but for a guitar at this price is quite acceptable!

The sound is not at all greasy, but crystalline (all without the acute attack the ears)

Connected:

I play mostly empty, but I had the opportunity to connect several times a Marshall sound, very nice surprise, the potential preamp and EQ is effective.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 years and I'm delighted! Even today I am still surprised by its sound quality and instrument making, unfortunately I see according to some opinions I've read that the build quality is uneven (something that happens more often these days) .

It is therefore essential to try before you buy and outlaw the purchase on the net.

The value for money is incredible, I tried a Gibson to € 2000 which did not arrive at the ankle (I was on the c **)

With the experience I would do without hesitation that choice, however I do not advise beginners because of its particular form which is not really a good example to learn how to properly hold a guitar, though

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite nice, a little too round for my taste!
Access to acute is very simple.
This is a guitar pretty well balanced in terms of weight.

Just one small problem on the manufacturing quality and finishing. This is actually my second RR CC24, the bridge was the first who started it off after 2 days. After more than a month of waiting I get my new Ovation (SAV Ovation slow) and then finish quality is very average. Let me explain: Caisse striped rope non-aligned at the bridge (distance between each string and uneven stripe on the bridge saddle prevents the rope back on track), poorly bonded bridge (it is already beginning to rise slightly) and a POC at the head.
Not short the top even for a guitar € 340

SOUNDS

The only positive of this guitar preamp
- Not plugged in the guitar has good sound. Certainly there are better but its already sounds better than a Fender Telecoustic.
- The Hype is the Panard then, in my case I branch with a marshall and a Compressor Reverb and there's great. The equalizer preamp is very effective.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it now for 2 weeks I love the sound when plugged in, a little less disconnected. The finishes are missing the quality is poor (Made in China This is not a reason).
I think one has to give one of these four luthier for the bonding of the bridge and the alignment of the string at the bridge saddle.
I have not tried many models before buying. I based the comment of his ancestor the CC024.
For € 340 I think it's a good deal if one comes across a skyscraper of good quality and well finished (it's a lottery with the series made in China). In addition, the Service of Ovation is very slow.
So to conclude I am moderately satisfied with this guitar and I recommend. With experience I think I will choose a higher-end model or a model Ovation Takamine Eg461SC
