Taking over where its Evolution Series TB-BABY guitar left off, Tanglewood has expanded its travel size offering to include both acoustic (TWRT) and electro-acoustic (TWRT-E) options. The new Roadster instruments target both the guitarist on the move, as well as younger players with smaller hands.
The instruments each feature a Cedar top (solid Cedar, in the case of the TWRT-E) and mahogany back and sides. The guitars’ aesthetic is understated – the natural satin finish, lack of rosette, and binding-less body underscore the utilitarian feel.
The TWRT-E is fitted with Tanglewood’s 2-band EQ, with back-lit LCD tuner. Both models include a sand-colored gig bag.
Availability
The new Roadster guitars will begin shipping to North American Tanglewood dealers in January 2011.
