The Vintage Series is designed to recreate the style, and vintage look and feel of some Washburn instruments that were crafted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The WJ130EK is a jumbo style acoustic/electric guitar and features a Sitka spruce top with quarter sawn scalloped bracing and rosewood back and sides. An abalone rosette and cream multi-lam binding with rope purfling are included. The rosewood capped headstock features a pearl Washburn logo and the rosewood fingerboard features pearl snowflake inlays. A rosewood bridge comes with a bone compensated saddle which works in tandem with the bone nut . Distressed Wilkinson brass butter bean tuners are features. As with all instruments in the Vintage Series, the WJ130EK has a vintaged finish designed to mimic the look a 100 year old instrument might have.
