This is not a sound, or the Hi-Fi, it colors to magnify the sound of your guitar. power of 100W announced seems a bit exaggerated but 6OW are sufficient to use "normal "!... (No heavy metal)

UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration, one branch and it sounds good, not too acute, as is often the case with electronic amplifiers and guitars suitable. SOUNDS

I play improvised music, jazz, bossa, etc. .. I do not like the sound but the shrill sound good acoustic guitar, steel strings or nylon. Takamine TAN 46 with a preamp CTP1 gets an excellent report. Alhambra with a classic pre-amp Fishman prefix +. I get the sound of my docks simply amplified instruments.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two months and I'm not disappointed. Better than the EAR can be 60? but best value for money, for sure.
The Schertler is too crystalline, the fishman has a channel (here, there are two) and it is the cheapest. (I'll come back ...)
Two defects to be corrected for the manufacturer:
-The handle is too small for four fingers rather thin and it is not at equilibrium (the mass of the beast, as light as it is poorly distributed because the amp is right and the HP of the other side ..). So it looks when worn on three fingers.
He saw a lack of walking off the front (the light this is a very useful clip saturation preamp input). I have left on all night ... Still, it's a great amp, compact, and that sounds ... icing on the cake: in any case he had 10/10, recently assembled in China (like most recent objects in my house ... ) it does not cost more than € 500. So the competition is in the cabbage, because even the EAR 60, reference on the subject, with its more metallic sound is more than € 300 there. Moreover, the "grain" of Ashdown Radiator allows it to connect an electric guitar with a result very honest ...
The finish is good, but I recognize that the EAR really inspires confidence for intensive use. I'll make a cover for Ashdown, although it seems more "fragile" a look "British" that I find cool ...

UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration, you plug a sound, the rgalges are obvious, it's quiet, not making a manual head with hyper complicated.
The sound is typical especially when using the filter (which is my case). Pretty sharp, super bass, mdiums creuss hair. The speaker has two tweeters and a 10 inch speaker (well I think it's 10 inches, but I'm not sr ...)
Frankly, if you are looking for Tuck Andress its type (which is my case), it's perfect.
In concert, I use it as back and I plug the DI on the table directly.

See above for the sound. I just add that the spectrum is pure trs (my ears anyway), and the harmonics are Submitted. e IT CAN BE USED with a Godin ACS Nylon Slim, and a Godin LG (micro Tetrad, splitter, slecteur position 4). Between the amp and my guitars, I aphex compressor and volume pedals (compressor aphex I can just avoid losses and gains too turn up the volume in concert - it is fed by the channel via the two phantom power supply and an XLR cable: a particularity of aphex pedals). This is the only thing I could fault this amp: when one goes up in power, you lose the claret and the sound gets too slammed. But in the case of most of the acoustic amps I tried (Fishman, AER, Marshall) and that sound is too slammin (EAR), is too typs (Marshall) or neutral (Fishman)

OVERALL OPINION

I IT CAN BE USED for 1 year, I am fully satisfied. In fact I no longer use this amp. It is exactly the style I'm looking for (acoustic jazz, swing, blues). Forget if you want to paste a distortion, or if you want an amp that reproduces the sound of your guitar and has only (the AER knew better, but for my part, I find a cold trs frustrating - at the same time, my guitars are not vritables acoustic).
My MODEL (550 OCCAZ purchased on this site) is a MODEL English, I now know that they manufacture in Korea, but a friend bought a rcent in England (350 euros postage included ...) and apart from the knobs a little cheap and the grip smaller - may also be finishing a little less clean but so little), the sound is almost equivalent. The report is unbeatable qualitprix me.
Repeat this choice? No problem, I think even buy one of these four deuxime to play on with a stro ... slight delay trs

The Ashdown Radiator 1 is a transistor amplifier of 100W, with 2 channels.
The first is used via an input jack for guitar with microphone active or passive.
The second is used via a low Z input jack or XLR to plug a microphone, a switch alimentaton phantom.
Each channel has an input level adjustment, equalizer and a minimum (but very effective): bass and treble, no midrange and is therefore easy to see why we can do without.
Together with two channels was the output level (output volume), the reverb (choice of types hall / flat patterns long / short, more than a knob), and an LED yellow / green / red level Input facilitating optimum setting whatever the desired listening volume.

To this must be added to channel 1 the possibility of contrasting highs and low with a button (shape) very effective for type of play acoustic picking, phase one button that minimizes the effect of feedback (very useful when is played on a guitar case), and a notch filter to eliminate resonance effects at high volume.

Behind the facade there is a line output jack, an input + output effect, an XLR DI for post Eq

Note: no power saw, to my mind is the little downside because you can quickly forget to turn off the beast ... (Behind the power button)

In use, the different settings are very effective, we will have essentially each parameter is really useful, no gadget.

UTILIZATION

In basic use, simply adjust the channel input, output level, and leave everything else default position (noon) when the unit is operating to render with great fidelity and expressiveness the sound of an acoustic guitar or electric in the clear.

SOUNDS

I play this amp with a guitar electro-acoustic nylon Esteve equipped with a Fishman preamp and an epiphone 3 / 4 body jazz emperor equipped with micro Bartolini.
With my two instruments, the sound is literally transcended.
With the classic, we understand we are dealing with an electro-acoustic amp of high quality, on my first test store, I felt to play a concert guitar high-end impressive .
With jazz, the sonic possibilities are very interesting, every nuance is met: the roundness of the bass, the treble clear sound, more robust to attacks mediator, playing softer finger agree or octave, beautiful.
Even the reworked sound of my pedals KORG AX-1500G give more satisfactory results.
The sounds are exactly what I was looking for a long time: a change in clean sounds very accurate.
Ideal for playing jazz / bossa and possibly acid-jazz/groove/funk.

The power is there, with just enough to play in trio or quartet setting without necessarily using a very powerful amp.

Note: Channel 2 in micro singing is remarkably effective, my wife singer was taped by the quality of the reverb equalizer and heat of sound.

OVERALL OPINION

For a long time I was looking for a power amp for my honest and versatile two guitars, and I first thought about the Roland AC-60, or AER Compact 60.

I played so far with a 85 Fender Deluxe and a Roland Micro Cube.

It took a 30 minute test in acoustic jazz with this amp to persuade me that I could never do without ...

The price at which one can touch (€ 475) fully justified the purchase because of the quality of the product.

I notice that for the sound of this amp is outstanding in every view.
That's incredible. The sound is warm, clear, with a great dynamic. It responds very well transcribed and impressively the sound of each instrument and even the angle at which you play your pick.
The reverbs are very good quality and very natural, they are really worth the sound. The interest is there are no settings and 36,000 it sounds immediately.
In fact what is really significant is that all the proposed adjustments are very effective and really useful. Just for the equalizer just turn the knob if only 5mm so that the sound is modified so audible.
This amp actually offers a very wide range of sound and of high quality every time

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months. And I'm not ready to let go.
I used a lot of amp before this one. I tried the EAR that I find sad and no personality (that can be what you ask ...)
Personal cash for half the jazz Ashdown CEST on top.
If you can get one to go for it you will not be disappointed!
The price is rather accessible.

I would do without hesitation that choice.

Trs light, wide soundstage, but enough concise manual. A choice of reverb is nice, for against the equalization is very minimal, no low cut or medium setting, lack a lot.

I've had two months, longer than 10 years that I play.
This amp is a good value qualitprix trs (I pay 260), ideal for a folk singer who plays guitar alone.

on the other hand, its lack of medium and performance of its ridiculous that HP will be difficult for this amp amplify an acoustic guitar or singing in a group (it sounds half as loud as my Carlsbro 65W !!!)...

Certainly less expensive than an EAR, but certainly less reliable and powerful.

It's tough and it inspires confidence. I love the look rtro chic.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is very simple. I leave the pots noon, that suits me well trs, trs but rglages are effective. I mdium the RULES on my guitar (takamine ean 10c). The reverb is great. The manual (tlchargeable for more information) is simple and comprhensible. The sound is powerful. Many prsence, imposing severe and acute prcis.

SOUNDS

The amp is great for an electro-acoustic. Pure, powerful. I tried my strat's and my electric comes, but you get the sounds semlables a connection to stereo. It's not made for that. We must also emphasize that this is a great amp song! I have just two REPRESENTATIVES duo in a restaurant with a singer, and his standard for silent voice. We have not pushed the amp, there was the reserves and is well covered on all the restaurant of medium size. We have a Peavey PA system which is older (table plus two amp speakers 100w). There are no photo. The sound will remain in the closet, especially since it is 10 times more bulky. The only compromise is to leave the singing to her SETTING THE reverb and accept them. I have the amp for beginners in September. I like the compactness and sound. I have not tried other electro amp before, but I'm not at all what I heard. I bought used on ebay, 120 pounds or 180 euros a seller English. This is a great deal. The amp is as new and manufactured in England. (It seems that the latter are manufactured elsewhere ... With the exprience, I think deuxime buy one for the singer!
