I had the chance to try home quietly Roland AC60 radiator1 Ashdown and the marshall AS50D.
Ashdown: liminroland good but not dose the reverb on any channel, so advantage marshall with a preference for the playback sound for guitar AND the microphone.
So fewer adjustments, but of enter and exit much better sonority (my taste of course !!)
Very very good quality ratio prix.Look "pest" more than acceptable power equalizer medium but without very precise.
Was hoping that might help you in your quest or consolidate!

First order acoustic amp.

Connectivity is fairly complete (instrument input, microphone input with phantom power, insert effect, line out, direct out, RCA line input). I suspect the line outputs and Direct are the same, which has never been a problem for me to attack a console PA.


Defects:
- I think it lacks a semi-parametric equalizer for the midrange, especially for the micro section.
- The sound is okay and not aggressive, but nothing to do with Shertler or EAR. Normal, the price has nothing to do either.
- Power is perfect for coffee concert without battery, with battery it is just a hair outside and you have to forget, except using back or coupled to another amp or powered speaker.

UTILIZATION

He does his job, perfect for a song performance / guitar.
I also sometimes used as a floor, can it help (signal input to the effects loop). The reverb is very nice.

SOUNDS

Style Folk / Rock: OK
Takamine acoustic guitar or Gibson: The sound is OK.

Used with various microphones, OK, even better by inserting the TC Helicon T1 (provides compression and warmth to the voice).

I did not really rule the eq because it does not draw much (see defects).

OVERALL OPINION

A few years of loyal service. It is still like new, not even scratched transport of gear drive. I carry in a supermarket bag size 2 bullets found at Fly.

In summary, a good quality / price ratio, an always useful to have on the elbow amp (may even help to make a small sound system DJ nights through the RCA input).

I do not regret this purchase and I keep it, even if there are better and more compact.

concercnant effects:
Digital chorus is digital good quality grain, not smooth for a sub but gentle, not configurable except for depth, speed
Digital reverb, same and only the level is adjustable. The + is that the effect can be adjusted differently for each channel by a single knob.
complete with anti feedback shift possible for nickel electro beats poorly equipped (pellet)

UTILIZATION

The sound is warm, colored to perfection, round and clean, by far the best in clean marschall transistor!
I am also his technician, is I use in several config:
- Return voice is quickly limited, impossible with an acoustic drum outdoors, though, held fully (all 10 volumes) without flinching during 4--5h
- Post recorder monitor the balance of tracks
- Monitor for stereo playback with RCA connectors
- Amp 5 string bass! to view! HP are tanks!
- For voice effects on the tiny stage électroaccoustique
- Main with a guitar, bass, jack, microphone, electronic battery RCA and amp does not budge either!

I also used to dub via the DI is perfect, no breath and no mass effect.

OVERALL OPINION

still works nickel, nickel quality for money, versatile and very heavy hot tank,. I never sell! Very good stuff for the price, compared to the more equipped models.

UTILIZATION

So first of all it is a very well made amp (Marshall nothing to say even for the transistor!)
I bought it for my Hagstrom Viking Deluxe Tremar therefore a half box; this is a very simple to use with a comprehensive configuration for acoustic amp!
Not even need to look at the book there is everything a sequel worthy of its name ...
In addition you can add a microphone (if one can sing it helps anyway, if not for help neighbors ...) so great!

So sound level I tested it with my half box is very nice and I stayed in the ass with a Fender Strat with Texas Special crystalline wish ...
The 50 watts are there to do well feel the character of the guitar and the reverb is very well made!

UTILIZATION

The AS 50 D MARSHALL configuration is simple.
The manual perfectly clear but low value, in fact.
Nothing is easier to ring his electro acoustic if it is good of course!

I'm bassist in a band and I play the acoustic guitar at home and very little in concert, what regret.
I want to play anything with this unit which is surprisingly efficient.
Some say it colors the sound of your guitar, if this is the case, it does absolutely no discomfort. Instead, I like but I add my acoustic guitars are not at 3000 €.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since 2009 I think.
I have not tried the other models because I liked it immediately.
What I like in this amp is its almost exotic because I do not think Marshall would build a acoustic amp!
When we look at the historical production of Marshall, you might be surprised that especially for a first this is quite successful.
The ratio Q / P is remarkable: around 300 €.
I remake that choice without doubt.

Its look is terrible. Brown Tolex "vintage" style leather handle very classy grill cloth fabric ... really beautiful!

UTILIZATION

Despite the existence of numerous knobs, one understands easily use them.
The sound is very good.
Difficult to compare with other acoustic amp as it is the only one I've tried!

SOUNDS

What I liked the most, two effects are present on the amp ... the reverb and chorus. A medium volume and the dosing without excess, it gives a rendering of beauty. The sound of my "modest" Yamaha APX-5A was clean, warm and alive.

2 HP 8 "do the job well. Broadcast sound is ... better than some power combos with a 12"!

OVERALL OPINION

I kept two and a half years! I had it for less than 200 euros.
I played a lot the first year. The using less because of the electrical I sold the same price for a musician to enjoy.

I do not know much electro-acoustic models, but I think that there is a very good amp, inexpensive OCCAZ, good brand and good design.
If I had to play more of my electro acoustic, it is to him that I will turn, because knowing I would not be disappointed.

This is an acoustic guitar amplifier. It is a solid state amp. There are two channels. The first channel has a simple 1/4" input. The second channel has that input as well as an Audio input and an XLR input for a microphone (or an acoustic if you have that type of cable). There are 50 watts of power delivered to the amp. There is a two-band EQ on each channel (bass and treble). There is also a chorus effect that can be applied to either channel, as well as reverb which can also be added to either channel. The coolest thing here is the feedback eliminator, which can be adjusted to eliminate feedback in specific frequencies so as not to sacrifice tone. There is also a master volume control for both channels.

UTILIZATION

I think this amp is pretty easy to use. I think that the chorus effect is downright a waste of time, and quite cheesy. Who wants an acoustic guitar to have chorus. The reverb fares a bit better but is still not my favorite. I think that the manual explains everything nicely, Marshall is usually pretty good about that.

SOUNDS

I wasn't crazy about this amp. I don't like solid states for electric guitars but I thought that they'd be better off for acoustics. I guess I was wrong. The chorus effect is god awful, I didn't expect much and it was still worse than I thought it'd be. The sounds that came out of this amp were pretty stale to be honest, I think I've heard better sounds with a DI box and an amp modeler, which is scary. The only cool thing about this is the feedback eliminator but I have not usually had problems with feedback so I didn't get much use out of it. The reverb wasn't all that great, I like spring reverb in tube amps better. Mostly I just didn't get an amplified feel from this, I felt like I was running a DI to the PA.

OVERALL OPINION

I guess this just wasn't the amp for me, if people want a really smooth acoustic sound than they might be more interested in this. For me, though, this just wasn't cutting it. I'll certainly not be regretting returning this guy so quickly.
