SOUNDS

I love his sound. Connected to an external speaker, the sound is amazing, very powerful without distorting. With quality 6.5 "it does not rain, but can go without saturating. He did what he said he would!

OVERALL OPINION

I've had three days already played with a bass / guitar config / battery and it did serious (I play Bossa Nova, Samba with a Godin nylon. Sound is stable with the body. Suits me . Later, you have to try in a bar / restaurant ... because Brazilian speak very loudly ... I doubt it will do the trick without help from an outside speaker. soon I'll tell you that

UTILIZATION

The "plug and play" as we like, the instructions in English is terse but sufficient. All adjustments are on top, a master volume, the control valve, gain settings, bass, treble and reverb per channel independent.

SOUNDS

I play mostly bluegrass, then struggling with 5 string banjo, mandolin and other Fiddles! Unequal struggle by taking his microphone what drove me to find a solution amp. The first step was the installation of a Bluestick Schertler Active EQ in my Taylor 410. I imagined the link to an amp from the same brand but "ouch Budget" ... After devouring everything that has been written recently on ZT, so I opted for the Lunchbox Acoustic ... The sound is huge, with settings summary, we get a faithful reproduction of acoustic guitar, moreover, a sacred volume! It's clear, crystalline, I feared the lack of bass but no, it's perfectly balanced.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a few days, we were inseparable! I tried a Marshall AS 50r which gave good results but in my opinion too shrill in the treble, I have not had the opportunity to test a Schertler (Unico or David), it must be something, but hey, budget eh! ... Finally for an exceptional value for money (388 euros delivered), a weight rikiki and look fabulous, I have a nice big acoustic sound that I can not wait to try online. The downside though: when connecting an external speaker because it is expected, it disconnects the internal speakers automatically a shame if we consider small rooms or cabaret is not it?

Just know that we are very far from the gas plant, but that everything necessary is present.
On the control panel: two channels (instrument and microphone) each with gain settings, bass, treble and reverb. A master volume and a common feedback filter.
On the rear panel, an extensive connection with Jack and XLR microphone (with power supply. Phantom), a jack for effects loop, a headphone output with volume control, a jack for external speaker ... All done seriously and inspires confidence.
The displayed power is 200 Watts, 130 RMS.

UTILIZATION

It is difficult to make simple, the manual in English is quite clear.
The board configuration contained therein is common sense: do everything halfway, then adjust and play.
I must confess that in my case it was not quite so simple:
1) Despite a long history of the guitar, I had no experience in amplifier.
2) The sound I got was full, powerful, very nice, but not transcribed as faithfully as you want the sound of my guitar.
3) I put long enough to understand the proper setting for my guitar amp. Reading the forums helped me get there.
Since then, it's all good!

SOUNDS

I play mostly folk, and pop songs. I wanted an amp strong enough to play outside (Music Festival and other), capable of receiving a microphone singing and, especially, compact (I live on a boat).
I play a Takamine TAN 46 C (tube preamp) and I plug in a microphone for singing Tbone M85 beta. This configuration is perfect for my use and the sound of all gives me great satisfaction.
It should be noted that the sound impression is very different depending on the position one adopts in relation to the amp. The sound is very full if one takes over, more metal directly in front of hp, but well balanced for the audience.
Overall, the guitar sound is magnified by the amplifier (the voice too ...), but some will find it perhaps not quite enough lens?
This last observation may be due to my guitar and his amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month, and appreciate more and more.
It is so small and light that I do not hesitate to bring it with me.
My first choice would have been an EAR, but the budget was not related to the use that I have an amp sound. I tried a Roland (background noise, a Marshall AC 50 (quite musical, but cumbersome).

This "box picnic is also capable of playing at home at reasonable volume, that" sending the Watts required. And then, at 387 €, the price / quality ratio is excellent!

I will not dwell on this chapter because I tested 10 minutes and I put it back in its box, return to the store (at my expense GRRR). Frankly I wonder where are the 200 watt announced by the manufacturer. For 200 watts or 130 (since the RMS power has been lowered in some descriptions) that makes noise! Admittedly, the sound is clear, precise, even nickel, but I relied on the reviews and I was very disappointed power issue. I believed in miracles but technology tested in parallel with my Roland Mobile Cube which is 5 watts, is barely more powerful. And I do not even next to the Marshall AS100D full power to him, does "only" 100 watts. In addition, my microphone cable jack (Planet Waves Gold-plated plug, please) does not work, puuu ...

OVERALL OPINION

Let's face it, this amp is excellent but much too expensive. It is not worth over 200 euros. At that price I would have been very satisfied, but at 425 euros, that's prohibition. For if this amp is tiny, watts are also, but not the price! For the same budget, we can invest in a good Marshall, Vox and Roland which for me remains the flagship amps.

On paper this is the ideal amplifier: small, lightweight, simple, effective.
Too bad the cover is not included in the price.

Getting a good sound is another story. I use a

cavaquinho (maker of Rio) and a Ukulele (Lanikai with preamp) and the goal was to use it also (and especially) to amplify the voice with a SM58.
I expected a very clear and precise manner EAR. It is very far.
With the gain of 50% must go to the master half to start to hear something. And what I heard was not terrible.
For voice it is necessary to push the treble almost completely and lower the bass to almost zero. This is not what I call settings effective and well proportioned.
For the instrument that is also very deaf. One has the impression of consensus through a pillow pressed against their ears.
To obtain the correct volume only ukulele playing / voice should grow earnings and master at 70%. I do not even use it on stage a bit noisy as return.
Where are the 120W RMS announced??

I tried to connect my ipod to see how he reacted, there is also more than mediocre: no bass, muffled, as mitigated.

I bought on the internet without trying. I regret myself so inflamed. After only 20 minutes of testing I think I will return.
I read some enthusiastic reviews on the internet and I do not understand the craze for this little box.

If you are looking for an amp very small, very light and you're just a very average sound and a low volume, it is for you. But it is expensive.

Detail that is not one: the finish is frankly low end. The white melamine which covers the box is of poor quality (holes in some places!). In furniture it's called the "paper design": fragile and ugly. The slightest touch and it leaves crumb. For an amp purportedly meant to be happening everywhere carted it sucks.

Value for money very average.
Obviously I do not do it again this election. For 150 euros more I hope to find an AER Alpha-hand.
