Stratacoustic, paid $449 Canadian minus a trade-in. Owned and tested for one year through various amps.
RESULTS; Very lively pick-ups and much louder than my other guitars. Excellent range of tones thanks to the on board equalizer. The neck is wonderfully thin and playable with a neck finish that is tastefully flat ( not shiny ). The body is so light and trim it invites picking up, I have one guitar that is beautiful but so heavy I walk past it and grab the Stratacoustic every time for a quick practice. The quality is excellent in every respect. I would recommend this guitar to anyone and have no intention of parting with mine even though I go through a lot of guitars.

i bought my stratacoustic at music123.com at a very good price of $234.00, i bought the guitar just to have a nice acoustic/electric to have and play!

The stratacoustic has a very well rounded tone un-plugged, and an even better sound plugged in (if you know how to get a decient mix) it really lived up to my expectations on quality, durability, sound, and definently l@@ks! So far it has been an ecxeptionaly good guitar. i also like the plastic ovation style back, i think it really helps the tone and it just looks cool too. very good guitar! recomended

the only complaints so far are..... the strings were a little farther from the neck than i had hoped therefore; harder to push down, and after playing for a while with friends or even playing sets or gigs it really takes a toal on your fingers! and also i know it might mess up the smooth look but i wish it came with a pickguard. But on this guitar the goods definently out-weigh the evils!!

i thought this guitar was very durable, from the moment that i took it out of the packing i could tell that this is a very durable guitar, it could definently take just sitting in my home, playing a gig, or even road abuse. This guitar is an all around good instrument, from the breath taking looks, to the wonderful tone (unplugged and plugged), all the way to the wonderful quality this is a great guitar!!

This is a wonderful guitar, one of my favs. this guitar does it all plays well, looks awesome, and is very very durable! I definently would and have reccomended this guitar to you!

An absolute blast to play. Everyone who walks into the shop goes over, picks it up and starts playing. Decent set up right out of the box. Plugged into my Danelectro eStudio belt amp, I can rock out anywhere, anytime.

One of the most fun guitars I've ever owned.

Well, you get what you pay for... I replaced the cheapo, plastic saddle and nut with TusQ versions. Also took off the astonshingly bad strings that came with it and put on some phosphor bronze lights... the sound REALLY improved.

Overbuilt if anything... I carved the two wings of the massive X brace that I could get to through the sound hole. After taking them down to an acceptable arch, the sound greatly improved.

Right out of the box, this is a sweetie... fun to play, very portable, huggable with an OK-to-Decent sound.

Replace the crappy strings, nut and saddle... carve down the braces a bit and you will be delighted... Lots of Bang for the Buck.

We were excited to see the ads for the Stratacoustic and Telacoustic. I was looking for a light easy to play acoustic for my Wife and these guitars appeared to be the answer to our dream. I preordered the Stratacoustic from Victor Litz Music before they even had them in stock and waited in anticipation for it's arrival. I believe We paid 325.00 dollars.

The guitar finally arrived it was light, compact and attractive. It looked just like the pictures.

unfortunately that is where Our expectations came to an abrupt hault. The molded body was not smooth and "Ovation-like" it had sharp bumps that may have been to keep it from sliding around but scracthed your bare arms. But what about the Tone?
I know I am spoiled by my Martin D1R but their really was no tone or warmth and plugged it this was only louder and made the lack of wood more apparent.

The "electric" style neck that promised easy action had more in common with a long bow than a guitar. They must have been Squier rejects. Examination of the interior of the body revealed glue had been slopped everywhere. There was even some on the outside of the guitar We had to clean off.
We ran to the local music store and traded it in on a used Acoustic Electric Guild that is everything the Stratacoustic is not.

Unless the manufacturing of the Stratacoustic has undergone a major revision
I cannot think of a guitar worse than this one. Avoid it at all cost. My old cheapy Korean Fender flatop blows it away in every aspect and in fact so does my wifes old Global. I am a fan of Fender and Guild products but the Stratacoustic drags the Fender name through the mud.

UTILIZATION

The action is a bit high (price requires !!!), however once the bridge properly lim to lower the ropes round the trs is familiar to fans of fender.
ergonomics is good trs (weight - balance)
the sound is "rtrci" in Acoustic, crate rsine requires small volume, but once the sound is excellent branch ... for the price and in absolute terms.
It would be difficult, if not particulirement apprcier the fabulous quality price ratio.

I use it with a tube preamp ART SGX and its clear the sound is excellent.

I just want to go back on the advice of Ps2.
Yeah, it's a nice guitar, I quite agree with him but once good settings made especially connected!! otherwise it sounds rather like a pot o)
I have bought one a month ago for a week, not bad, after the handle more like a rainbow than anything else.
So I straightened up the, no problem but I also found the strings really high.
I read the board Ps2: file the bridge. Yeah pretty blah as manipulation perieux '. I better, at least I think, and with less risk.
you must remove the handle (behind the four screws) and slide it between the support and fund a few thin strips of wood (I think the card stock must also agree) to the desired height. and, voila, ca becomes a guitar from hell, uh fender.
Then just put the strings lights (not too large if the handle does not like, it bends easily) and we find the great ergonomics of the stratocaster (for those who love).
In addition, I move quite often, I lugs around in a bag style backpack, it is super lightweight and compact. and compared to a scratching electric means what we play

I just received my statacoustic in sunburst and it is nice plutt trs. J bought this guitar for curiosities, and I ignored the comments found on the net! It's true, but made in China with a Fishman 4, the handle is trs trs enjoyable but slightly more than a strat pais'. The thickness of wood is not consistent trs Premire for plutt but finished well for 300. The equalizer of Fishman is great and allows for a more than adequate passing directly on a table for example. Without the branch as opposed to opinion read on the net I find a ring! Trs is different compared to the branch once but it's a pleasant sound trs.

UTILIZATION

The neck seems to me that the biggest lightweight in the stratum and to know that the tyrant of the original string is 12/52 which is not bad for slamming the cot. Perfect mix between acoustic and electric.
CHAC is trs fine but be aware that the feel we are closer to the acoustics as good strat electric. The body is a good dj in depth and it's very light weight, well equilibrated so very pleasant to play standing. I test an amp accoustiq CARLSBRO (adjustable flat) and is your exact bleuffant! This is really excellent, I tried a marshall lamp and it was okay and then it's funny to see that even when a sound not too bad with a slight crunch, I tried also a peavey bass amp and Moyer is to have a beautiful sound trs. The best thing to not dpenser bcp money is to go live on the table (with a minimum of quality in their stuff) s we approach the amp for acoustic and honestly compare with a godin not at all in the same budget is not hsiter!

OVERALL OPINION

For the price there is no picture and no hsiter, the only question I ask myself is: this time is a skyscraper that will age well? I have also a Mexican Start for 4 years and it does not move so it plutt good sign.

The handle is enjoyable because of the varnish that allows all positions and dmanchs faciles.l 'Access in acute trs is correct and also gnrale ergonomics. Big problem I see: the action to rev high and low ability to rglages. This makes the game fast and tiring pnible for beginners. In addition, the action may vary from scratch so the other must be too careful buying.

No branch is not great and trs forcment crystalline dpart acoustics of the instrument does not leave a magical impression. Once connected it is enough for all of that sounds not sound trs. The sound is equilibrated diffcile because the bass is poorly trs RETURNED even with a good amp derrire. So trsdu pramp of which is dependent on the violin, no doubt. In short it's pretty cold and even dcevant for this award.

OVERALL OPINION

I had bought for his ct practice scratching for extra RPTES or small concerts and finally I have given a friend in exchange diffrent odds and ends. Outside the Aesthetics pluttrussi does not ring and therefore a lot of guitar runs with changes more or less happy to try to lower the action.

When I got it, y'avait strings of m ** and sounded like a pan (j'tais dgout but when I do I arrange all the stick, my "luthier prf rquot; told me to pull strings with a more lv I cost and I did well ... unplug and branch it sounds much better and fatter what I like so much!

I have not bought it I changed it against another guitar, I'm glad trs, even if I think one day I m'achterais another electro- sound (probably a custom made from a luthier) but for now I like it very much and am so good! She carries around trslgre and easy! The report is qualitprix plutt correct, even if many say it's a bad guitar, I think for the price it is correct (y 'brands that make good sound worse Quanli and sell them more or less the same price!). In addition to its looks really cool (I have it in black and is very well finished), then try it Do not hesitate and guitar done everything correct!

UTILIZATION

J'possède a Squier Stratocaster that I changed (a gem compared to what it was before) and personal as a player suitable strat j'me'm over, I tried 2-3 electro acoustic and several acoustic but I reckon it's the guitar on which I have not lost my bearings ^ ^
Its fiberglass body gives it a special lightness even though it is not too balanced, which looks good to me * laughs *
it is convenient to carry and no tired to play

Hmmm from what I saw earlier opinions y'en many who seem to compare it with a Stratocaster, I guess that, given its shape very close to her older sister, but I reckon power that because of that they expect too much of it is an acoustic electric power and not so forget it =)

Unplugged, it sounds good, its a medium that is interesting and which I enjoy, it becomes connected épattante for what it is because the Fishman épattant by both its settings which gives a mysterious side to this guitar because we are curious about what we will find, I play a Fender FM65 DSP. OVERALL OPINION

Despite being made in China, it's a pretty amazing guitar and is useful in the transport and light above. This is my first acoustic electric, I always play on electric and then it changes everything ^ ^
This is certainly a rhythm guitar but can be good for some good solo should not think or play metallica van halen with it but it is in terms of blues, rock, country and many other I think .
Its price is reasonable and will delight novice and the curiosity of more =)
