How long have you use it?

Some days, I took advantage of a promo for 157euro have a room, it allowed me to finally test this brand to my face genelecs .. and I can not ... these tordres has very good product ... or even better depending on the case because it has my taste better acute ...

What is so special that you like most and least?

the (+)
-response super frequency .. so that it tickles me to acquire the new series which is obviously better .. at least on paper ..
-quality Audio ... they have a really good record for speakers this size.

Have you tried many other models before buying it?

Genelec, maudio, Prodipe, Yamaha, and a brand that nobody knows "Reekin" It's mind-blowing and anger I totally lost my hair ..

How would you rate the quality / price?

For once ... excellentissime, almost want to buy a second pair for fun ..: -) !!!! .. but its normal price ... I tell good

With experience, you do again this choice? ...

Well yes on that .. I even have the turn to this brand before ... but in the series above (A7), which is more suited to my needs .. at least once .. time .. on paper ..

I had little room to equip myself for listening to me used to control my intake like my mix: a corner dining room in an apartment in Paris. So, have to see small, outlaw events at the rear, while staying in power and a reasonable budget for the neighbors and for my bank account. I would have loved to pay the A7, but it was already too big and powerful, where the A5 as I branch out of my sound card and multimedia have some refinements in terms of comfort (button-up voltage control at the front and the volume of the two chambers from one of the two).

I loved the treble and upper midrange of the A7 and I found them on the A5. Obviously, the bottom is not very interesting especially with the acoustic shit my stay, it pukes all over the place. Fortunately, I have things optimized by placing the speakers on foam backing compact and thick, and using the IK Multimedia ARC that fits their response to the problems posed by my room. I am well aware that this is not ideal, but in conjunction with headphones Ultrasone Pro 900, it allows me to produce mixes that are not strawberries and that's a lot.

OVERALL OPINION

I love the treble A5, much fainter than the X series of Adam has always left me skeptical: I find the detail without having the impression that everything tingles in my ear 2cm, as the A7X. And to have been able to compare these last with many other pairs of speakers of the same size since I confess to have never regretted my choice. Only problem, they are no longer sold and A5X does not apply, from my point of view ...

Obviously, I love that they have serious most interesting (no more serious eh, but a serious accurate because there is a bit of cheese) but it will require that I pass on a template top . And a much higher price too. In short, a very good monitor, recover used ...

The Adam A5’ are active powered monitors, sot here is no need for external power source. They are very small and stylish and can fit your on desktop or workstation space without a problem. You can also put these close to your screen and not have to worry about them or the screen messing up from the magnets. Because I like to keep my monitors right beside my screen right in from of me, so these where crucial for me and that was the deciding factor.

I cant believe how much more detailed the highs and mids are for the price. I was leaning towards the JBLs but i felt that they were colored, and hs80m's just seem a little to harsh for my ears and bassy at high volumes. So i decided to stick with a 6 inch monitor and stick with my Adam line and the vxt's are very responsive at this price range. I wanted the 8's but i already have the 10s sub. Ive been doing music since 2001 and ive heard my share of monitors in this price range and by far this blows away a lot of the competition in this range.


OVERALL OPINION


Overall, the A’5s are pretty small, but that has nothing to do with the sound they provide. They pack a punch and you will love the sound of these. They are affordable but they arent as cheap as you might think a set of small monitors should be so you might be surprised on the retail value of these. Maybe some online like eBay or somewhere for cheap but in the store the retail value is pretty high. You will love the A5’s no matter what genre of music you are creating they will sound great in your home set up. I recommend them, and suggest you check them out for yourself.

I was looking for a home studio set of speakers, size reasonable (I liked the Yamaha HS80M but they are really huge!), Which can be positioned prs of a wall (I work in my room) . I wanted something relatively neutral, with enough bass but treble Defines well.

The front wind situ allows the positioning of the trs prs wall without problem. Ct ergonomics, everything is accessible (including the main switch, weakness in a lot of models).

Note the possibility to connect a single speaker in Stereo and plug in the second on THE FIRST. It can simplify the cblage, I personally have not used this possibility, but technologically it's nice to know that it is possible.

Note also the protective screen in front of the HP, some will find a lousy, I love and I think more for Securing the life of bugs.

I'm not an expert in the Contents. In any case a comparison test in the store allowed me to DGIG the lot for several reasons:

- A thundering bass response for size
- Great clarity in the treble, particulirement on sounds a little crystalline (guitars, cymbals ...)

In the same price range, I hsit GENELEC 8020 with acute taient but a little deaf.

I use hair half-power battery has more than enough for my pice (15m). I tried to push them to see, I t impressed with the quality of its overall high volume.

In short, at all good for me. But I am not qualified to particulirement Retailer Stereo image etc..

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for 6 months, to play the piano, and occasionally mix my recordings Listen to records.

A PRS 570 a pair, they taient Chres more than counting set, but the diffrence in the quality more than justifies my ears.

I think I would resume the same, especially since the price has dropped slightly since then.

I was looking for a pair of amplified speakers to Get You Started in home studio and to connect my derrire firebox.
They are enough places prs wall (20 cm) with no problem.

I use one stro link, connecting the firebox one of the speakers using a double jack / RCA, then the second chamber is a branch of THE FIRST CAR. The advantage: the volume of the stands the second order.

To choose, I tried them and compared to HS50M (all that could make me listen Home Studio in my price range) on two tracks I know well: Meds by Placebo and Eiffel Tandoori.

In comparison with the Yamaha which I found quite messy, I felt like removing a veil from the Adam. Prcises I got a lot more (and ears), in particular Tandoori means perfectly diffrent guitar parts that mlangent the end of the solo. A bass response also impressive for their size.

So even if I cracked c'tait a little above my budget.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for 15 days.
Their sound really flat to me.

The models I tried following a few months ago: Yamaha MSP5, Samson Audio Resolv A5, without being convinced.

A pair 498 in Home Studio, c'tait 10% more than my original budget but I do not regret that choice. A similar budget, I would do without hsiter.

They are the size I needed, vented front placeable so close to a wall power switch and settings are on the front and not a detail! Indeed rise, go behind the speakers every time you want to turn it on, play on the volume ... etc ... it's very heavy. Here everything is before you and that changes everything.

SOUNDS

You can spend hours in front, they are so nice that your ears do not tire as fast as other monitors. The dynamic is true although I feel somewhat rebalanced. The frequencies of low end (bass) are not very good, so I put 9. Indeed, they are a bit exaggerated (and ends up on a weaker system different listening) and also a bit messy, but given the size of monitors is more than normal. And finally: There's the bass! it is rather surprising.
Power level it rocks!

OVERALL OPINION

4 months that I use. I'm beginning to know them well and they really fit in my home studio is a good compromise and super c heavy construction, I put them often in the ass of my electronic drum module volume and almost fully: it fuck it and not move a muscle. These monitors cashing without flinching. For the mix they are very nice but beware of the bass response that sounds as if balanced on the A5 it lacks a little potato on the other system.

I wanted the vents in walls because of the step back to place my speakers.
And I was looking for the accuracy of the tape a bit tired because of the color of twetters dome.
I use them to the mix and very little attention, as well as visual music.

The curve is neutral while the medium are a bit distorted if you listen a little too hard and without EQ correction.
The stereo is very nice and the dynamic is very correct.
Generally the answer is very good but pass the 100 Hz accuracy is omitted because of the size of the correction allows HP to correct the curve fairly accurately based on the play but I would love to have a more detailed EQ settings.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them since Christmas in my home studio but already used version A7 studio.
I have already conducted tests on various pairs such as Samson MediaOne, the NS10, HS 50, M-Audio.
The value for money is very good because it talks about Adam, so a pair below the 700 € are very affordable and compact dimensions and can be behringer 3030A HS or 50 so the comparison does not place be.
Namely, for 150 € more about it can have BM5A I think to really have a gain of power and quality it is better to go above 1000 € per pair for a real better.

Yes I would do such a choice without hesitation!

I had little room, so I was looking forward to the events, I hesitated between this model and model marks a bit cheaper to go with the same budget to speakers 8 inch, but I preferred take Adam, even invest a little later in the sub that goes with ...

The sound is clear and precise enough on the whole spectrum, enough in all cases immediately to highlight the major problems of my songs.
Stereo and dynamics are very good.
I saw the limitations of the master A5 listening to a group of friends who are into electro and working lots of bass and sub bass reese crazy or Wobble. It is not clear that it falls below the physical limit of the boomers can ...
That said, I mix things both hip-hop, folk and pop that, even if the accuracy is much less marked than in the bottom up, it is still fine.

I love them ... these A5

The Adam A5s are a small set of studio monitors. These are active monitors, so they don't require any external power amplifier. The A5s are the smallest and cheapest monitors that Adam has to offer, and comes in both a white and black finish. I've only used the A5s for listening and monitoring on and not for mixing or critical listening, which I don't think they are suitable for in most situations.

The sound of the Adam A5s is very impressive for a small set of monitors like this. I don't think that I'd recommend using these as your main monitors, although they definitely pack more punch and have more detail than any other monitors of this size that I've heard. They don't sound as thick and full as their bigger (and better) monitors, but they do offer a great deal of clarity and a good amount of low end presence for small monitors. I would imagine that most people will be using these as a set of 'B' monitors to compare mixes on, but I wouldn't be surprised if many home studio owner were to use these as their main monitors as well. I can't say that I discourage doing this, but I'd only recommend it in smaller studio situations.

OVERALL OPINION

Even though the Adam A5s are small and don't look like huge studio monitors, they're definitely above many speakers that look like them and are definitely impressive for the size. The price isn't too cheap for smaller monitors, but when you consider the big sound, it makes a lot more sense. I can see them being used in a variety of formats, but it really just depends on what you're looking for in a studio monitor. I'd recommend checking them out for yourself to best judge whether or not these would be useful for your studio situation.
