Munro Sonic introduces at Musikmesse a more compact version of their studio monitors with dedicated amplifier, the Egg 100.
The Egg 100 follow the Egg 150 that Munro Sonic has been manufacturing since last year. These new monitors feature the same “egg” design as their siblings, with a one-piece rigid enclosure in which are mounted a 4” woofer (100mm) and a compression driver. The monitors ship with a variable tilt base that allows for easy adjustment.
The provided tabletop amp includes volume control, a dedicated Class A headphone amp with front output and two EQ controls for high and low frequencies.
The Egg 100 are manufactured in the UK and will be available in black, white and red finishes. They will start shipping in May and will have a price of £1,299 excl. taxes. Munro is also planning on releasing a subwoofer this summer, more info to come soon.
