All user reviews for the Tascam VL-X5

After many years of galleys by combining stereo, guitar amp and Mao, cabling DELICATE, I have to crack a Behringer Eurorack mixer and a pair of speakers tscam vl-x5.

the result is final. with proper management levels, restore to the millimeter speakers so they are sent. without emphasis of any frequency. without distorion without souffle.c is clear, beyond reproach.

the connection is treated, it is beautiful.
my choice c is fixed after the last compared with the Listen Mackie and Yamaha.
the Mackie (Tapco) m seemed to add presence in the bass and treble, in the manner of an amplification area. the yamaha sound more brouillon.c is for their neutrality and perfect sound definition of the medium that I have chosen.

OVERALL OPINION

The only drawback is the click al ignition, and the volume knob undersized.

The answer is very homogeneous and is super flat from 65 to 22kHz, though a slight sheen (very light) which makes it very detailed and precise. c excellent for edit (mouth noise / reverb / compression etc.)
the stereo is very good biensur it depends on your investment, but as you get to make a high-end speaker as invisible as the stereo is crisp and precise.
amps work very well they are fast and even a little nervous which earned him a very good momentum and the net transition. you will very quickly if your mix is ​​rather "piss" or "big sound"!

They sound really great! Atention against it by do not have much bass so do not be trapped. However the bass is well defined and it is nice. I love the treble very bright too.

The stereo image is correct and no more. but maybe I should reconsider my investment on the occasion.

Basically these speakers truly reflect the reality and it's very nice. Much more than my tapcos (which I always that I keep as a second pair at the moment) much too flattering.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought in July but I have only really use mix at home. I mixed the six titles in a rock band and I had no surprises when comparing my mixes to other audiences (hi fi headphones, PC speakers ...) which is really nice! JUSE must be careful not to send too much bass and there are really way out with a good mix!
So I remake of choice without hesitation. As for value for money, having purchased it at Thomann obviously exeptional!
But I wonder if even at the cost almost french ca not stay a good deal these speakers ...

They are perfect in terms of functionality (with correction to accommodate an acoustic or an incorrect positioning).

The curve is really neutral products in the same price range.
I have compared with other on-line (same source) with pr samson resolv 50a example and there are no photos. The Samson commented as "clear" have a lump in the treble very tiring. This highlights some shortcomings of its decision (ssss..) Mix but it seems problematic as not neutral at all. In addition they are very tiring.

Because of HP's 5 inches, the tascam not go down very basic but very clean and do not exégérement boost the bass. I play the bass and let me say that what comes out of the tascam is really beautiful. While the signal is there. According to those who descend below (electronic music) this may be a problem (although we want to go down very low, it should be a great room with acoustic treatment).

So the price is very very good.

OVERALL OPINION

An unbeatable value for money. I bought them in August 2007 to 289 euros in Thoman pair! He was unbeatable at that price and it's really usable. For a net gain should be aimed very much more in budget.
This choice I would do without hesitation. I compared them with various models of less than 500 euros a pair (m audio, behringer, Fostex, Alesis, Samson) and really they have won every time
