I use them in the studio .. is the fact of having seen them in the studio major producers of techno that has motivated my choice.

SOUNDS

very neutral .. very good picture, stereo, good dynamics and the sound is very clear and very precise.
it just lacks a little bass but c why I plan to add soon the sub.
because no one should raise the sub gain and knock it saturates and distortion arrive.de most neighbors do not like in general .. the sub makes it possible to have more severe without freqences up the gain.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for a year and a half before .. I had tannoy more powerful but less accurate.
and when I re-listen to the mixes that I did with the tannoy on yamaha I discovered from errors of mixes that I did not hear with the tannoy!
the only thing that bothers me a bit is the event at the back because for those who have a little piece .. and hs stuck against the wall .. ca gets worse to work in good conditions.
more I love the look with white boomers and the yamaha logo that lights up.
the price / quality ratio is excellent .. I wish I also try and Dynaudio adam a7.
at least I think that supplementing with the sub and acoustic treatment "calculated" it will be perfect for the small home studio seriously.
