Value For Money :
Excellent
Characteristics that motivated me: enclosure 8 "(as advertised but not really), wide bandwidth, excellent rendering in low, relatively neutral, aesthetics and value for money.
Monitoring use conventional home studio
It is therefore not amplified amp and connected directly to the master output of my sound card.
I think however acquire a box in addition to the perception and treatment of transients in the mix.
SOUNDS
neutrality ... relatively but beware divide the curve is that the speakers are placed close to a wall because their vent is placed at the back, they should ideally be located 1.5 meters from a wall, in my case I don ' not have the space and I use the "control room cleverly proposed by Yamaha to overcome the problem.
The dynamics are good, they extended session and shows nice little tiring
I have an ear, but am not an expert so far, however I find them fairly accurate now I do not have the ability to check an entire spectrum!
Stereo image ... and it is us who do ... :-P

I saw many turn monitor with Genelec, Dynaudio and they are a more modest budget but do the job very well. This is my first in acquisition.
My only regret is the vent at the back but well compensated by the control room, that I will ever hypothetically choice but finds it more interesting to enrich my park with other models for comparison and a way to win in objectivity. I am attracted by Dynaudio, Tannoy ...
