Correct
I was looking powered speakers to mix my instrumentals. After reading reviews on these speakers quite correct and objective enough for a vendor quality / price ratio honest I buy HS80M.
The use of HS80M mainly concerns the mix of instrumental hip hop rap and r & b, dynamics processing and effect.
No amp speakers are active, they are connected in monitor out of my sound card a omni studio first generation M-Audio.
SOUNDS
Not having quite enough knowledge to spread my knowledge I would avoid. But I think the frequency is neutral. In addition to setting back of the speaker's mid EQ, room control, high trim, low cut according to the speaker layout allows more accurate adjustment of HS80M
The stereo image is respected but nothing beats an S1-Shuffler, not more seriously the stereo is correct.
The HS80M respect the clarity and precision across the spectrum, the dynamics too.

These speakers are very good for the successful mix.
Not just a lot of listening on Dynaudio (other prices ... different quality?)
The value for money I think is excellent
With the experience I would do this election ... I invite readers without making a pub to visit my myspace page because the sounds were mixed with these speakers to give a more concrete opinion.
