The MX2442A displays the same characteristics as the MX3282A. It has the advantage of being more compact despite its 20 channels (16 mono and 4 stereo), 4 subgroups, 6 aux sends and 2 stereo aux returns. Two departures are switchable pre / post while the other 4 are post fader and share two potentiometers. The MX2442A has an external rack for a huge reserve of energy and a clear sound without noise residual.

UTILIZATION

Pretty easy to use.
The space between the slices of voice and pots for quick access and easy adjustments.
It is regrettable in a connector jack on the departures, especially the huge external power supply requiring a flight 2U 4U!

SOUNDS

Bon ben is Behringer. K'ai is a simple test:
Same microphone, same cable and same settings on both channels = not the same sound!
The settings are unclear (especially in terms of gain), equalization is risky.
It is a shame not to be true .... 6

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years ... This is far from the top but the budget being what it is ...!
With good peripherals can catch up with the imperfections of the console. Anyway, for the price, there is nothing equivalent in other brands.

I carry regularly, and in this case it is better to put everything in "box" (a flight BETONEX for the console and a power supply for the flight ABS) ... What bothers me most is the power supply is bulky ...

UTILIZATION

We can no longer simply the behringer is indeed unfortunate for the PSU fMeasure (it said was pro). Otherwise mine DCON 6months since the tmoin pfl is constantly lit and the recording I have to activate the PFL of the runway so the sound comes into my sound card (not a routing problem), I cleaned Entirely disassemble, and verifies blinkered circuit boards to no avail so I concluded that the components are not all of good quality but dcevant foreseeable at this price range.

SOUNDS

Quite agree with the fact that to have its equivalent on each track with the same eq, same microphone, same gain, bah not count on it. Otherwise the equalizer provides no masses, absolutely not specific on, your kind will have a knob forced it to turn it and the other will limit freewheel then forced to not do what we want .
on the other hand for breath, oh! What pleasant surprise is not nickel, not more but for the range of product and component that is corect.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years for studio and live, I have a small mackie which speaks for itself and I have test dozens of different consoles of good qualities. C'tait a whim for my part I had a little money and want to buy a big console first and then see what is worth, it was a mistake on it is impressive, but keep as much your money and buy something better quality later. Be patient! choose the quality.
