[Musikmesse] Motorized faders for the Neve 5088

Rupert Neve Designs gives users of the 5088 mixing console the possibility to add motorized faders with the SwiftMix module.

The SwiftMix extension allows for control and recall of the DAW from the Neve 5088 with motorized faders. The communication with the DAW is achieved via the 9-Bit HUI protocole and the system configuration on Mac or PC is done via Ethernet. No specific driver is necessary, Rupert Neve says that the channels will be automatically recognized.

Each SwiftMix channel strip features a 100mm motorized fader, five backlit switches to control the DAW channel select, solo, mute, recording arming and automation. The automation mode offers Off, Read, Touch, Latch and Write options, each visually indicated by a LED on the SwiftMix.

The SwiftMix module for the 5088 console will be available Q2, 2014. More info at rupertneve.com.
