Rack-mount model. Separated by small power connector on the back.
6 Input Stereo Jack.
2 microphone inputs on Jack / XLR. Phantom power supply.

For each of the 8 inputs:
sensitivity adjustment.
3-band EQ, parametric on the medium.
2 mono aux with a pre / post of your choice.
60mm fader.

2 stereo returns can also be used as additional stereo inputs, but also their departures 1 and 2 (How do they come then? Arrrh ... not got it!)

Output mix, a headphone output with dedicated knob that disconnects the output monitors, an integration into the mix, not on the canals, damage ...

The knobs and the power supply connector is a little fragile for heavy use, for cons, the carcass is made of hardened steel.

UTILIZATION

I bought it at a time when the effects were monotimbraux on keyboards. The interest was twofold:
Put a reverb on an auxiliary grade.
Able to use freely the effect of the sound of each keyboard.

Easy to use, even if the knobs are close to each other. However, I do not touch it every 5 minutes.

SOUNDS

The sound is very good today. Even the mic that I had never tested before today have nothing to be ashamed to face input card M-AUDIO FTP and ULTRA: more gain, a (small) bit out of breath, perhaps, but the sound seems less dry, more natural. In short, it still impresses me today!

I was never bothered by the wind on keyboards, there are very few: you must put the knobs at the bottom to hear it, so beware if you play something at that time!

OVERALL OPINION

Counting the annnées, well ... it's been! Beautiful life. Home studio use quiet, without any glitch.

Unique model, few offer as many consoles stereo inputs.

Very good price / quality ratio.

I acquired long ago a Folio SI 18 / 2:
It is very well for working with machines if we merely 2 to ... (not like to connect 3 samplers, 5 multi-effects etc ... )
The micro pramplis on two mono tracks are really excellent, I recommend using an external prampli for mics and guitars ...
But overall a good quality-price on the second hand market!

UTILIZATION

Trs easy to use given the architecture, quite handy although my big fingers sometimes have trouble with the knobs correction Tone ...

SOUNDS

The sound is good, not super friendly (it's not a console lamp ) but relatively transparent!
There's background noise on In which may be disturbed when working with weak signals ...
The Stros have MRIT way semi-parametric, but would have an impact on the price!

OVERALL OPINION

Clearly it's not a console-ing his great but plutt Stereo mixer, and trs is what rle!
It is robust, no false contact in 6 years ... trs fine, Legris and rack against a wall (over power supply to PRS) ...

Frankly, a great value quality price, as mentioned below. In fact, hard to find a console which provides 18 between that price. The sound is true, is transparent, but is not a quality to those who ask that the sound is not flattered when mixing? With a good amp derrire is the foot.

The console uses a rack and connector jack. Equalizer:
Channels 1 to 12: 6 comes with Stereo legalization (HF / Mid / LF);
Channels 13 to 14: from mono-line or microphone with legalization paramtrique (HF / Mid 100Hz + HIPASS filter) / LF) and
Channels 15 to 18: between stro with legalization (HF / LF).

No effect section.

UTILIZATION

Gnrale the config is very simple and common functions are easily accessible.

SOUNDS

The sound is transparent. The legalization (HF / Mid / LF) on channels 1 to 12 is compelling.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for more than 10 years and I never tire of it, precisely because it does not sound color.
