Hello to all lovers of Studer 169. I have 3 Studer 269 (a master 16 / 2 and two bins 20hp) and a stereo 169, a total of 56 mono and 14 stereo !!!!! and a lot of spare slices. the 169 is modular there are several versions. of 8/2/2, the 10 / 2 and stereo versions of 10 / 2. For those interested we must be careful not to buy older versions 269/169/2/2, 4 limiters as these consoles do not have a pan! only one switch left and right on each slice. other versions have a double pan. Otherwise it is possible to change the slices to create direct out for each symmetrized using banana plugs but be careful who you do because it can be expensive. consoles are cascaded by changing the bus on the chassis. limiters on for my part I do not use very little by against the EQ is very effective, no need for more if the catch is good! For me the big advantage of these consoles is that they are portable and not by the girls! ha ha! 65Kl for 269 and 45 for a 169. 70 slices a console in the trunk of a car that you better!!
Ps / I forgot a detail of the power supply! Some consoles are fitted externally. In this case you can connect to your battery! viva freedom! www.myspace.com / arthurlavilla
UTILIZATION
No brainer. very simple.
SOUNDS
Excellent
OVERALL OPINION
A console that you can resell the price paid if not more. take about 6000 euros for a 269. between 1500 and 4000 euros a 169. Unfortunately, the stereo can not be found.
