Okay so now there are 9 months ago I bought for € 1500 with a TAC Scorpion 30/8/2 matrix. After reading an essay on a table in KR Toft Audio Designs ATB-24 as I said, "instead of paying € 6000 let's see if there is no better (period) for less expensive ... (used)

UTILIZATION

I knew this identifier to have recorded several times: Scorpion I & II, mozart Amek Angela Bordeaux etc ... "The Chalet", "the big pink" Angers "Karma studio."
Presonus Firepod I have two 16-track (For 2 it works damn well! On a PC +! And is portable +!) That serve as magneto. Yamaha tapping and a good stock pickups (with a lot of Tbone !!!))
Do not turn over around the bush, it's great!

SOUNDS

I used it before (what am I saying?! I abused ...) to plug to magnify the sound (the Waves SSL had my preference).
The sound went through a preamp / TAC équalo AMEK n 'has nothing to do with the poor (but expensive) substitute! There the body, size, life (and therefore also of breath, hey!) Of the correction (2 ds's sense) and the possibility of "stuff" in the bunch (oh joy!)
Turn a knob to a new sense ...(?!)
This is the kind of console rather cut for the Rock, Punk, Reggae, Dub, Electro burnée, Blues etc and forgiving.

OVERALL OPINION

For € 1500 I have more of a summer excellent bill! (That trend and it's not the summation con: D) So the con uh SON! SOUND! SOUND!
In terms of defects, well, it's very big (in size) not as smooth as a table with lots of gadgets, sometimes it crachouille (always a bomb ss hand! Oussama not true?) But it's built very solid! It dates from the 80's! (Jealous of me says that the "Scorpion I" were rinsed! It is not!) )
It takes place and bcp cable (unbalanced)
but what a sound!
