Magneto used on any recording / mixing the album "Thriller" by Michael Jack ..
I tried several magneto: Otari mtr 90 (tough, reliable) Sony APR 24 (tape transport good), Studer A827 Gold Edition (top) and the 3M M79 is robust tape transport less reliable than those mentioned, but the sound is better that all these magnetos ... except that the loan studer is really great but the sound of 3M has a very warm character. …
