Korg is making the original MS-20 designers’ dream come true with the MS-20m Kit synth that is unveiled today at NAMM 2015.
Evolutions on this new version of the MS-20 kit include oscillator sync, frequency modulation, two pre/post filters and PWM with the PWM In jack. An EG2 Normal Out 0V / +/- 5 V was added to the EG2 Rev out, which extends sound capacities. Last, the Trig button allows for easy triggering of generated sounds.
Plus, Korg added a CV In Hz/V and V/Octave to the patch section, it allows for connecting a wider variety of electronic devices.
Last, the MS-20m Kit includes the new SQ-1 step sequencer, also introduced today.
The MS-20m Kit will be available Mid-February for the price of 1199 €, including the SQ-1.
