6 voice analog synth with poly. 1 + 1 LPF HPF, 3 + COD noise, an LFO, a ADSRte
keyboard 61 k, 2x64 memories, CC sends and receives twelve o'clock and prg.

UTILIZATION

very simple to use, one button = one function

SOUNDS

pretty good at bass, leads, pads and fx, chorus I and II to thicken appreciably certain sounds.

compare it with the DX7 as I read in another opinion is meaningless, it's a synth while the DX is FM

OVERALL OPINION

I own the 106 for over 15 years is a machine very reliable and robust with a very nice grain. However the limited possibilities of modulations (lfo 1seul, a single envelope) do not make some typical effects or stamps that can be achieved with a monster like the Waldorf Q or with plugins synths. personnelemnt I no longer use it since lgtps, I keep to the subject and the collector side. I much prefer my blofeld or the Logic ES2, or NI Massive Dune and Synapse.
In short, a great collector's item that can acquire more for fun than for utility. Bcp plugin sonnet as well and offer much more possibilities.
