Not much to add on the characteristics of the JX10.
Say it offers a 76-key keyboard, useful for making a master keyboard in home studio. Subtlety: in master control, place its MIDI => Parameters => Upper off in Local, Local in Lower and Off.
In addition, this synth comes with DCO (Digitally control oscillators). It offers 12 voices of polyphony. In fact, the JX-10 is two JX-8P.
He has also taken the Midi in, out and true, several audio outputs, a headphone input ... At the time of its release (1985), was very good. For now, it still is, as manufacturers emerge this type of machine at very high ...

FYI, I bought € 500 in 2005 with the programmer, the PG800, and two memory cartridges: one M-64C, an M-16C.

UTILIZATION

Sounds can be found on the net, blackjack. As for the production of sounds, it is better to have the PG800: it makes life easier. Otherwise, take head and galley ... Casually manual is helpful. I have French.

SOUNDS

The JX crushes all plugins supposed to emulate the analog. Its sound is warm, despite the DCO who equip. This synth is a formidable weapon for sound design, create layers and bass. More surprising for an almost entirely analog: it is capable of reproducing the type Rhodes electric pianos, which are very good road.

OVERALL OPINION

In short, you guessed it: I am extremely happy with this synth. I'm not ready to sell.
