Keyboard 5 octaves of very good quality (well done with the metal sides) both inside and outside. We find typical Roland wheel (without the ability to push forward to the modulation) operation but very soft. Too bad this synth is not equipped with a stereo connection (like Juno) but we can solve this problem. As against it is equipped with a symmetrical XLR output as the big brother JP8. The connection noon is present but very limited in use (note on / off, program change) There are 2 available VCO, synchronizing, adjusted very precisely, with the ability to stack waveforms (not available on the JP8) The sliders and knobs for all functions, it is very significant, although they give a small sense of economy (plastoc entirely) but it works well, and this is the essential!
Polyphony is 6 votes, enough in most cases.
UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

The entire circuitry of the Jupiter 6 is secured by an electronic Curtis (CEM), while the big brother has only the circuitry for filters, VCO 16 is based discète circuitry. OVERALL OPINION
I use it for almost 6 months, and I have not been around ... far from it. I appreciate it for its convenience (memories), strength (yes, it's much less often than a loose Oberheim example ...) and for his great generosity in the sounds. It's not a synth j'utliserais alone, but rather a complement to a set-up. Ideal as a complement to Oberheim, a Korg or the other big polyphonic sound may be more wide and deep.
On the other hand nice, all the little flashing LED night on stage. It's too space.
An investment that is well worth it.
