Monophonic analog synth, 37 keys.
VCO VCF VCA LFO 2 ADSR. Cv gate input output for external control.
Synthesizer output 1981.Pitch wheel.Pas memory.
somewhat the same characteristics as a Roland SH101, without the arpeggiator and sequencer without the small.

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use as long as you have already received an analogue in the style.Pas need manual, just your ears! Synth very practice, easily create your own sounds. The keyboard responds well.

SOUNDS

It is the strong point of this synth: Like its big brothers CS15 and CS30, the CS10 has a very original but not large in terms of dynamics.
When you're used to the sounds of analog synths and korg roland at the time, a yamaha cs will give you a dose of freshness (vintage) that will stand out just the other analog despite its less "big" ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use the cs10 for about three years. What I like most is his SON! What I like least: it was an arpeggiator welcome.
As analog Yamaha, I also have the CS30. Possibilities in the CS30 has many more possibilities of modulation, but the sound of the CS10 is not sorry at all in comparison.
YAMAHA CS10 for the time I paid about 200 euros (in a great state), honestly, compared to his friends the roland sh (I have the SH101 and SH09), it is very much undervalued. If you made of electronic music, and the cs10 you find (if you find one) is in good condition you can go up to about 400 euros, eyes closed, you will not be disappointed.
