Renkus-Heinz has introduced the new CF/CFX Series, a modular point source line array loudspeaker system.
The CF/CFX Series is designed to meet the needs of today’s small and mid-sized venues, from auditoria and theaters to night clubs and houses of worship, according to the manufacturer.
The CF101-LA Point Array Module is a 10-inch two way design that offers a 15-degree vertical coverage pattern, integrated crossover, and Renkus-Heinz’s Tuned Conic Diverter waveguide. Up to four CF101-LA cabinets can be arrayed to provide a 90×60 degree coverage pattern, delivering up to 9 dB more output and tighter vertical pattern control than a conventional single cabinet. Traditional line arrays require two or three times as many cabinets to provide the same range of coverage as a single CF/CFX system.
The CF15S subwoofer is a compact sub. Single or dual CF15S cabinets can be combined with up to four CF101-LA cabinets to create a portable system that delivers the full-range power and coverage to rival a full-sized line array. CF15S subwoofer cabinets can be flown as part of a full CF/CFX array, or used as a base for pole-mounting up to four CF101-LA boxes.
Renkus-Heinz demonstrated the new CF/CFX Series at this year’s InfoComm Convention in Las Vegas, June 9–11. The CF/CFX Series was on display at booth C7622, with live demonstrations in their Demo Room N110.
