UTILIZATION
Conexant usb not like GI-20 but is it really useful por this type of device?
Associated with a GK-2A, it does not answer too but you must have a quite clean.
Description of the possibilities of settings (I bought it without instructions dsl):
Play mode = choice of guitar or microphone input (and yes it transforms the way or copper in midi .. etc (for agreements not against a single note going on in this fashion that the transition is not very effective ).
Midi channel = midi channel setting
Bend range = sensitivity adjustment of the bend (0,2,12,24) is convenient because you do not play the same way a piano and a flute sound (for up to 24 must be be strong and of good rope: D.
Poly / mono to poly = on and off for mono
Octave = shift can be transposed an octave above or below.
Bend the D = Thin I'm stuck, probably related to the Bend.
Attack FLT N = ca also be used (on or off) when in doubt I put it on.
Expression Pedal assign = Mod = on = off. I have a roland dp2 that works well with
Touch sense fi =, nr, Hd, or nd. Very important is the setting for the sensitivity (picking, pick, saw ... etc).
Pickup sense = volume leveling rope rope 1 to 8 (Very important too).
Master tune = 442 or 440

GETTING STARTED
I use it for about a year and I love being able to choose the expander that I put behind and use the MIDI editing on a PC.
For live, one must be used properly and play (friends logging is not for you) but it does not fit all styles of music, I use it in jazz / funk and variétoche.
200 euro bought on Ebay good price / quality ratio.
For the difference in tracking with the gi-20, I can not say because I have not tried it.
This is the cheapest one is good for the guitar so I say yes to choose when you do not have a big budget.
