its fat .. I love its power, heat, and especially its accuracy sustain .. it never stops ..

It respects the instrument very well. It does not give specific color but respects the bass.
For my part
Rickenbacker 4003 + ampeg svt 6x10 is terrible
with stingray.attention to manage the volume ..

The YBA200 is a bass amp head entirely 200Watts lamp, fan-cooled, activated by four (4) high performance lamps Sovtek 6550WE amplifying two (2) Sovtek 12AX7 and one (1) 12AU7 constituting the preamp section. True to the authentic tradition Traynor, there are no semiconductors (transistors) involved in the flow signal.

The basic settings are what you expect to find on the front of any bass amp of high quality, including a gain of input power, the master volume control and a master EQ section of 3 - bands. You will also see that we've added new features such as command 'Scoop,' 'Range', and 'Resonance'.

SOUNDS

I play mainly alternative rock, then, I spent a mill games that play more than a groove ... and this amp is truly awesome.
a connoisseur friends asked if I had more amp when he heard the recording of our songs. I play a Rickenbacker 4003 ... I absolutely had a tube amp to make it sound "like the 70's!" This amp looks like a good old 70's Ampeg when playing more groove, but when it comes to sound the charge, I feel like playing with a Hiwatt Custom ...

UTILIZATION

The configuration is done well, no equalizer complicated, most of the time is difficult to use for someone untrained, and gives the aesthetics of a gas plant. Of knobs to turn, that really work with the ability to adjust the gain for a good crunchy sound! ... we obviously can not get with transistor amps, or even hybrids. Having owned a Hartke 3500, an Ampeg SVT 3 pro, having played on a V4BH Ampeg SVT 4 Pro, I find the Traynor much better just because you can get a natural saturation (I have not obtained with the V4BH that plus I think lack of power).
Side finish, no complaints ... it seems to be builded to last.
Convenient handles on the side flap.
The weight has convinced me, 18.5 Kg remain reasonable for my little back

SOUNDS

I play in an indie pop on an old United States with a precision cabinet Ampeg 410 HLF ... the sound is just incredible ...
One can easily switch between the fat crystal clear sound while keeping power.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought six months ago for 815 euros on the internet.
I frankly do not account for sale, unlike many amps I had.
Good quality tube sound for the price of a transistor ... it provides food for thought!
I think if I had to collect bass amps, it would be: all-tube Ampeg SVT, Orange AD 200 all lamps, not to mention a good old Fender Bassman 100 W Silverface ... Traynor YBA and 200!
In short, buy an amp with eyes closed because it combines the three attributes: power, RELIABLE, sound!

I find the sensitivity of knobs means, not bad, not great, but it's not the philosophy of this amp! like the scoop and resonance brings nuances apprcies a low / medium volume, once the 'we go into the amp, these shades are in favor of gum sound! and what her!

UTILIZATION

- The configuration is very simple, the appearance of a standby for the non habitus lamps!

- The sound is the standard strength of this amp, you get a good sound easily ... all at noon, the master a bit over MIDI and the tour is played ... qualo is to correct / boost bass, not to get a better sound (IMHO)

- The manual is clear enough, but pointless because learning the grip!

OVERALL OPINION

From 1 week-used, adjacent is a concert and two rpeter
- The sound is excellent for the price (815 in vpc, ca atomizes any other head tubes full level ratio Q / P), the price is extremely clment relement for quality, and then 20kg, ca may seem heavy, but prs is the center of gravity grips with practice, it happens!
I advise it to all bass players looking for a lamp while the panel covering the whole rock, and who do not want a full dpenser 1700euros tubes!
- With the exprience, I do it again this choice with all the others (notably SVT3PRO)

This amp head as he does say below is a head ALL-watt bulbs in 200W 8.4 or even 2ohm.
The rear connector panel lacks a little when even Speakon output, but has 2 outputs Jack and Impedance of a selector.
On the front you can meet an ID, a mute button between a tuner, one between a prampli etc. ...

The rglages are basic: Gain, Treble, Mid, Range, Bass. The small addition to the head are rglages Scoop and rsonance which provides amplification of low frequencies or damping of these same low frequencies. It may be noted that the head can produce a natural overdrive by saturating the gain.

I put 9 for the lack of a small Speakon behind, otherwise it's perfect!

UTILIZATION

The configuration is simple to die, I can tell you that even my cat can happen to find rglages he wants!

I use it with an Ibanez BTB 555 MP, active bass, and what a good balance God! It's killing my cabinet takes full figure! When you push the creature we see that there are a lot of power and the sound never becomes "evil Dfine", "deaf" still has it right!

For 850 on a German site VPC is the bomb.

I played on a bf SVT3 Pro and I can tell you that frankly has nothing to see, it's hot, it's dynamic, it is specific on how it rocks! Then the little that is more natural overdrive, crunch was not bad at all!

I use it for about 1 week and I had a little time to use it already and frankly it's all good!

What I like most about this head is the potato that it owns and especially the warm and specific on!

I tried a lot of head amp! Svt3 Pro, Markbass, SWR, and I can tell you it is not comparable for this price!
I think in the march of amplification, the report qualitprix can not be lifted more on this amp is really sensational!
