Fender Music Master Bass Combo

i got this for free from a guy at church(along with hardcase,amp,cords,strap,andtuner.

i love it, for being bout 30 years old it still rocks. perfect for a little guy(cause its a junior).ive dropped it,scratched it,hit it taken it apart, and so on and so on. ive hooked it up to a 500 watt amp and it sounds better than most 500-800$ basses. mines probally an antique.great beginner bass and expert bass. ive been playin for 2 yrs. sound great on big or smal amps(but sounds terrible on my amp cause my amp's a piece of crap-and old)

nothin much.mines a junior( im 15yrs old) so its a little too small for me.when i first got had it I too take it aprt and cleen iside cause u know ITS 30 YRS OLD!!!

great, i took it cross country,and who knows were its been the past 20-25 yrs and who had it.the paint job is fading a little and lots and lots of scratches and dents. it sounds great for an old guitar.

over all its a greats beginner bass and an expert bass.it sounds great big or small amps. small and lite(my hard case weighs more than it)andgreat duribility. i would recommend it to every body, beginner or expert bassist.

its not the best bass in the world but its certainly a very good bass I would give it a 4.5, butt below it will be 5

Very simple and therefore lightweight and easily transportable.

UTILIZATION

Super simple: 2 inputs, 1 volume, 1 tone
Basically, there is a sound ... it fast enough crunch with humbuckers.
When you push the volume, it crunch more without really increasing the overall volume

SOUNDS

Vintage sound, obviously
Excellent with a stratovolcano
With Gibson, because it's crunch quickly and it is a bit messy for my taste.
Very close to a Fender Champ or Princeton, but with a medium a little less interesting (for my taste).
HP 12 inch far bigger than 8 "field or the 10" Princeton

OVERALL OPINION

Vintage amp for a good not too expensive!
It is a credible alternative to other Fender Silverface, even if the sound of Musicmaster seems a little worse than the Champ or Princeton.
But must still find it! It is rare indeed in France.

UTILIZATION

He who reapply with a device simpler than this amp meter is a time to come! A real radio! A volume that serves as turning on the device: it's "click" when turning. A stand-by? Are you kidding! As for the single tone knob is stamped bass early in the race and at the end .... trebble A radio I say! Where we laugh at least that's when you start to realize that this little amp sounds great for guitar, like most old Fender bass amp for that matter. For low power is not enough unless you stay in your room!

SOUNDS

This amp is the generation of Silverface 70s. The sound is typed Marshall, uh no! that's not it! By altering the volume of sound it will clear up big crunch. Ideal for blues and rock, even though I play jazz with! Good metal is dropped, we will ask mesa boogie that we lay a nano correct!
The sound starts cruncher around 4 or 5 in volume knob so quickly.
Beyond the amp more twists, but do not earn significantly more powerful.
The sound becomes a bit more bold. And, casually, that gear is heard! Without the attack on his older brothers is a great amp for playing in small places, although included in the sound that makes him very well!
I plug a Start into it often, and frankly we feel at home from home srv!
Of course it sounds as with other guitars .....
He can also add a distortion pedal and set the amp clean sound. For my part I would adjoin a 808 or a ts v twin mesa home, it makes two sounds easily accessible.

OVERALL OPINION

I found this amp in a basement 10 years ago, I changed the lights and presto!
I heard more powerful amps, but there is finally a lot of situations where I use it, including recording, where it is very good.
In any case at home, great work!
This amp is no longer manufactured for years, but if you find one, jump at the chance, you'll see, you make multiple services.
Go a little 9 to 10. I am a decidedly sentimental .........
