2 separate entrances
- Equalo jack with 3-band, volume, volume effects
- Jack + XLR + FFT with acute bass, volume and volume effect.
Independent volume Di out.
there is a sharp trumpet on the side.
bank of six effects (reverb and 4 chorus 2) valid for two slices at a time.
- Jack @ 8ohm out
- Speakon + jack out @ 8ohm
power is 150 watt 8ohm 4 ohm and 250 I believe ...
DI output is not very reliable, once it works and recent buzz she has died, suddenly I do not use more.
I put 7 / 10
configuration is relatively simple, since I almost never read the manual, except to verify that I have no phantom power supply (48v) on my version which is one of the first ...
another was released shortly after the phantom. phew, it is sorely lacking on my own.
the sound is good when playing alone and not strong. Once a group is just a hassle to find its place in the spectrum.
6 / 10
I play many different styles
jazz, chanson, rock. for the first two it can go for the rock is a bit lighter.
is an acoustic amp, I use it primarily for bass, but I also play a passive 4cordes PB, and JB 5 string active. in these cases I add a 15 inch cabinet.
this amp has some shortcomings:
the sound gets very right. it must actually be in front of his ear to get along.
DI just crappy
over time gives a mechanical vibration sound cuicui on certain frequencies (between and low C), I'm a box factory to separate the head of the cabinet. In other words, no need for a combo.
I'd like to try it with a 4x10 and 15p to see how far he can go.
I also tested configuration folk guitar + singing in a bar, and here I confess that it was not bad!
for jazz sessions it can go
to set more rock that troubleshoots well but quickly move on to another sound.
channel jack flatter bass while the second seems to me more balanced (though it has no medium), but need a phantom power supply, and therefore does not work alone with the bass, have to use the pedals to power the instrument and correct equalos that seem out of calibration.
the integrated effects is the amp is not bad but impossible to control via a foot pedal, so once engaged, not possible to change is less than a hand let go of the instrument.
6 / 10
I use it extensively for 4 years. evidence that it is not that bad.
I tried a lot of style, I had several peavey, the combo of two bodies. I tested acoustic image, ampeg, aer, bassman.
I am very demanding with my equipment.
The most undeniable is its weight space! I start making plans with the amp in one hand, the double bass in the other, and a small backpack.
it is especially handy with two channels can be connected a computer and an instrument, practical work, at home, or traveling.
it has the wrong age range for 1000 euro bought an amp even if I find fault painful. the ratio Q / price is a bit high.
I currently directs me to a more scalable config with a double 15p, 15p a simple, one 4x10 or 2x10 and interchangeable heads, a good lamp type HIWATT, and an old transistor, in order to change according to the desires and styles
but I will keep this amp waiting for something better in its size as it is practical, compact, relatively strong, with the experience I probably do it again but this choice may be I will look for opportunities. He still made me proud of services, I'm a little hard on him.
