L yes but beware it's so very typ Ampeg (which I love)!
I find that this Ampeg es tun bit the equivalent of marshall scratch; must push the gear!
That cash, was sent by the breath I hate against gnr the tweeter when actuated.
No need for an additional 15 inches with this 4x10!

I was looking for THE sound rock, metal, a good run in serious but without forgetting the mids and trebles. I lonnnngtemps sought and therefore hesitated between many very good brands.

SOUNDS

In terms of sounds, that is exactly what I wanted, now it all depends on what research is always the same question. With my HSVT CL, frankly it is happiness, it just purrs which must, I should say that this cab sounds more like rock, metal, but it gives the funk as well even if it can not that he be given preference if you funk. J uses this cab for 2 months

I have tried many models before fall for this one but mostly mesa with what my heart swayed. I was looking for a particular grain which meant that I opted for this mesa cab but do not have to blush, I will say that they are more versatile that ampeg for my taste.

The features I like the most is THE sound it releases, I have not tried with another head but with my config is blast! The power it can reach with my head I was still sixth on. Master and it gives so I'll say it this small trunk cab

It is value for money: the price is obviously ....... therefore it is the U.S.. After this is how you look at it, I prefer not to overlook the story as it lasts me a while on the one hand and on the other hand quality sound, is to go, if it is to repeat the weld in 4-5 years as the manufacturing quality was not ... it's a matter of perspective. I have not tried the Chinese or Vietnamese cab so I can not compare the sound quality.

I bought it for my complter BA500, which lacked 2hp with me, some breath. I use it to play rock of the 70s ..... what motivated my purchase is that it is in 4 Ohms, and is compatible with the BA500 (which d W envelope 500 in this configuration)

As usual, Ampeg Ampeg + is a max, the sound is what I wanted, the acute hyper grve.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two weeks, weight and size are his weak points, but known for me not to take Whereas, we know what we achte. Based on my amp, I do complter by DSIR as a Ampeg cabinet. D'ac, but the price is the quality too, and again, I do spend most my time running to try other brands, it lacks tjrs ququ'chose, not here.

APRS having spent long time searching the net for a quality speaker has stopped my choice on it. There is nothing to say. I use this one baffle coupled Ampeg SVT 18 and all with a head svt 2 pro.
Most of the cabinet and the tweeter with a small volume of the rear CONTRL and honntement is a gem.

The sound is clear and round (we are in ampeg). My bass is a fender jazz bass 75 and all the harmonics of the instrument comes out.

OVERALL OPINION

Sounds Ampeg. I was surprised by low despite the fact that it is only 10. "If we adjust the tweeter though the highs are great too.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two months. As the SVT-18 is discontinuous, I think me take a second to use my head to its maximum potential. So I liked. It is easy to carry, so it is heavy but with all the handles and wheels imaginable and it simplifies the task. Two is better than a 4x10 8x10.

4 of 10 hp, a tweeter, adjustable wheels + a handful in the back, still retractable handles on each side. He can forget his weight.

I use a Hartke HA3500 with a Sansamp preamp BDDI, the low distortion EBS, a Musicman Stingray. The baffle compensates the side of the head hifi too.

EDIT: I now use it with a SVT-3 Pro, a good couple. The preamp is useless.

SOUNDS

The speaker sends a pretty amazing amount of bass for an 4X10, vents at the base are for nothing.
Treble are very well rendered, too, the tweeter is a remarkably well taf.
It's dynamic, powerful, round and defined. Very effective.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two months. I love this sound typical Ampeg, full of potatoes and heat. A 4X10, it sends really fat.
I have tried many speakers of the same size before I decide for it (Eden, Hartke, Galien Krueger etc... Etc.), and I see that Orange to hold head. And even in a book quite different.
It's expensive, but it can be found in the 700 was nine (Euroguitar).
I highly recommend.

The speaker is not neutral dutout, it accentuates the lower mids and bass.
It goes down to 28Hz! Very interesting for the 5 string player I am.

Be careful if you use an amplifier containing lamps (lamps or any hybrid) I strongly advise you to have a foam like the foam box flight between the speaker and the amp to avoid microphonics. Indeed the baffle down very well in very serious, if we put just above the amp and using lots of bass, the speaker vibrates so much that it transmits vibrations to the head and lamps, which you gives a kind of mechanical noise like a spring that vibrates is the metal part inside the lamp that vibrate is the microphonics. This phenomenon does not occur or less so with the 610 or the 810 HLF from the same brand because they descend so low in the bass.

Before this I used a 410 speaker Warwick WCA pro with my SVT classic, when I plugged the 410 HLF after selling the Warwick, I actually discovered his true Ampeg, SVT baffle sublime classic. Sounds warm and yet not so imprecise that it, slap in the cabinet that defends very well, you just love the warm, not cold slap.

OVERALL OPINION

it's been 8 months since I use it, I'm very satisfied, I have pushed very hard and he never flinched. Just once I make a setting to pick his hyper aggressive crammed with high mids and treble, and I was stupid to try to slap! The slapping sound generating huge spikes in the treble and more on a tube amp which generates more peaks, the HPs of the cabinet were illuminated in white at the tissue membranes. Some told me one here that these are fuses warning light signal, like, "hey my coconut easy on the crests of sound, if you want to do that buys compression to protect myself." Fright, but after having carefully checked the cabinet it has held and still works wonders, do not just not mix in acute settings with extreme slap. Just know.
The speaker is quite expensive, even if the sound is really good.
The biggest drawback of this speaker is its weight combined with high-volume, each time I go down stairs or narrow and more with, I want to sell it, but every time I play I go back not sound it sends. The Ampeg SVT-140 HLF is a popular bass guitar cabinet that is great for uses of all kinds. I've only got experience using the SVT-140 HLF in the recording studio, but there shouldn't be any difference between using this in the studio or elsewhere. This bass cabinet has four 10" bass speakers that cover the low end, and a series of high frequency drivers. It has a 1/4" speaker cable output in the back. We use this amp cabinet with a variety of different amplifiers in the studio, but it probably works best with an Ampeg amplifier.

I can't say a bad thing about the Ampeg SVT-140 HLF bass cabinet, as I really can't find any flaws to it. It sounds awesome with just about any amplifier, as I've gotten great results using it with both an Ampeg and Gallien Kruger head. Depending on the amplifier you are using, you can really get some sound out of this cabinet. It's able to take a lot and presents an accurate picture of what you're sending to it from the amp. Of course since it's just a speaker cabinet, there aren't any on board controls or anything as you'd change any sounds directly on the head.

OVERALL OPINION

As far as I'm concerned, the Ampeg SVT-140 HLF is pretty much the perfect bass cabinet for almost any bass head. Of course Ampeg on Ampeg is probably going to sound best, but having used this cabinet with amps from other brands, it works well with any head you want to use with it. It's got more speakers than you'll ever need and as a result is definitely heavy! Luckily, Ampeg knows this and they put a set of wheels on the bottom for easy transportation. If you're looking for a true professionals' bass cabinet, you need not look any further than the Ampeg SVT-140 HLF.
