Chauvet showcased its new Q-Spot 150 LED at this year's ProLight&Sound/Musikmesse.
The light is a 9– or 11-channel DMX moving yoke that has the luminosity of a 150-watt discharge lamp.
It is designed to be compact and light-weight and it comes with an eight-position color wheel plus white. It also features a seven-position rotating slot-and-lock gobo wheel with a three-facet prism. No need for any tools to change out gobos thanks to a sliding cover positioned over the gobo wheel, Chauvet says.
One high-powered 20W LED is designed to deliver a large and bright throw of 4,180 Lux @ 1m and a beam angle of 16˚.
At just 13.5 pounds (6 kilos), the Q-Spot 150 is designed for all sorts of lighting installations, especially in hard to reach areas where bulb changing can be difficult.
LEDs can last for up to 50,000 hours.
